“Perfect for our purpose”
My colleague and I were in Brooklyn for a weekend business conference. The La Quinta location was perfect for proximity to our venue. We were able to walk to and from while enjoying the neighborhoods in-between. The only draw back we found was that getting to & from JFK was rather complicated. The hotel was well kept, our room clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The price was reasonable and if we return for the same conference next year I would not hesitate to stay again.
“Great Price; Great Quality;”
This is a great Hotel. They service people go above and beyond my expectations.
“Great find in Brooklyn”
Great staff. Hotel is close to subway. Area is quite safe, came back from Manhattan late (11:30 pm) several nights, no one about, nothing scary. Loads of little food cafes in the area, Subway and Dunkin' Donuts across the street as well as 24 hour convenience store at the end of the block. Breakfast is adequate, bagels, toast, boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt and fruit. Also you can make your own waffles, though this is tedious as it only makes one at a time. The breakfast area is small but you can load up and take your stuff to your room for the rest of your party. Breakfast is over at 9 on weekdays, which we didn't realize so we went when they were cleaning up and they still let us have stuff from the pantry. Considering the prices of hotels in Manhattan, this hotel is a great find in an up and coming area. Would certainly stay again. It is not posh, but its clean, no bedbugs and is also safe. Loved our stay.
“great hotel for the price friendly staff convenient for the Metro into Manhattan”
A comfortable and well run hotel very convenient for the F line into Manhattan . Plenty of restaurants and bars two blocks away on 5th Avenue. Would use again a welcome alternative to those Manhattan prices.
“New York”
It was a great stay. The staff was really wonderful. I am a firm believer that if the saff is not nice the stay is not nice. So my extrem props to a great hotel and great staff, also thanks EXpedia. Happy Camper In El Paso
“Very surprized”
I have stayed in hotels in NYC in the past and was not impressed. La Quinta in Brooklyn was fantastic. I give it 4 stars with the only drawback being the shower water pressure. The room was spotless and staff was most accommodating. The bed was so comfortable and most important the price was great. I will definitely be back and have already referred the hotel to several friends and relatives.
“La Quinta”
Hotel is good for a quick overnight stay but is really noisy and the breakfast is pretty slim pickings, however the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean. We stayed there overnight before leaving on a cruise the next morning and it was perfect for that. One thing to watch out for is the hotel is pretty non-descript looking and it took the cab driver a while to find it and we were told many will try to take you to the La Quinta in Manhattan so make he knows Brooklyn
“Park Slope?”
Competent, inexpensive, basic accomodation Building is new Room was OK Breakfast was a joke Location not great but not far from transit and good neighborhood Not a dangerous area, just cheap commercial
“Brooklyn”
Hotel was nice. complementary wireless and breakfast was a plus.
“Nice Stay”
Clean and quiet. Nice staff. rooms are a bit small but I guess that's to be expected.
