“Will definitely go back”

The hotel and service were excellent...not to mention the location was ideal as it is between 5th and 6th and within walking disctance to many of the City's best locations...I will definitely stay there again when I return to NY City.

I took my mom for girl's weekend. We loved this hotel. Beds were very comfortable. Service was excellent. Location was terrific. My mom has limited mobility but we were able to walk to some of the shows in the theater district. Would definitely stay here again.

Our son was very impressed with the room. He lives in the city and stated that by NY standard the room was spacious and the bathroom was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would have liked to have had a few more towels/face cloths in the room, as the temp was quite warm, we wanted to freshen up more than one washcloth apiece allowed.

“An excellent mid-range hotel”

This was our third time at this hotel in three years, and I have to say the hotel is still excellent. The staff are friendly, the hotel is clean and plush, the rooms and especially the bathroom are cleaned to perfection.

Our only problem at this hotel was that our room was so quiet and with the drapes closed it was like a tomb. When our alarm failed to ring (operator error) we missed our train, fortunately we had no problem catching the next train. Great Service at the hotel and an excellent location in Midtown Manhattan.

“Very Impressed With Sofitel”

We have traveled all over Europe and stayed in 5 star hotels that didn't compare to the Sofitel NYC, All staff, very accomodating, midtown location perfect, close to Grand Central,just far enough away from the hustle & bustle of Times Square,and Broadway, but within a short walking distance. Rooms exceptionally quiet. Love the large bathroom and dressing area. Only complaint, no coffee pot in room. Would certainly recommend this hotel,and we plan on staying there on our next trip to New York.
