“Rooms were OK”
The rooms are very small, however clean the TV had a bad reception, overall for the price it was OK for me.
“Perfect for Downtown New York”
Excellend hotel. Friendly & helpful staff. If you want to be near SOHO/ Lower East Side/ Greenwich then this hotel is perfect. Rooms are not huge, but they are clean, comfortable, and perfect for the weekend getaway!
“Excellent value for money and superb location close to everything!”
Very nice room, small but neat and clean, great bathroom and very comfortable beds. Staff very helpful and extremely polite.
“Great Local Location”
Stayed here with the Mrs. Good location and surprisingly comfortable and surprisingly it was realtively quiet for fronting on Canal Street. We had a room on the 2nd floor. At street level underneath there are open kiosk type stores and therefore the bathroom floor was quite cold (Janaury) other than that, clean and comfortable with easy access to subway. SOHO is a pretty cool neighborhood.
“Little Italy, Chinatown and SoHo.”
The hotel is in a great location and I would fully recommend it. The only weird thing is that there is no closet or rack on which to hang your clothes; this seemed very strange and somewhat inconvenient.
“Small Rooms, Good Location”
I was a bit worried by the reviews that I read for this hotel, but I booked it because the price and location were right. After staying there, I strongly disagree with the low average rating. Sure the room was small (which was no surprise given a low price in NYC), and light sleepers shouldn't stay there because a subway train runs underneath the hotel, causing a very low rumbling sound every few minutes. However, if you can deal with those two issues, go ahead and book it. The location was excellent - close to subway stops, Chinatown, and Soho. The people at the front desk were helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.
“Funky but chic”
A trendy little hotel, the room was small with but very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. Perhaps one of the smaller rooms I've been in, but as one person on a business trip, it worked perfectly for me. I would recommend to anyone considering value, but wanting someplace clean. Hotel staff were friendly and accomodating.
“Great price great location!”
Hotel is on the edge of SOHO and Chinatown. Ideal if you like the downtown area and plan to use the nearby subways to get around. Short walk into the main part of SOHO (has a nicer feel than Chinatown). Good restaurants 4 blocks towards Prince St and Spring St. Hotel has small modern reception area. Room was modern and clean, bathroom nicely tiled and bed linen fresh. Space was fine for two sharing - definitely not the smallest rooms you'll find in NYC!
“Great Location”
Super Good location for us. Nice and Clean. Here is our first choice.
“Hotel Azure”
Wonderful staff. Well located.
