This Midtown hotel faces Fifth Avenue at West 35th Street. The Empire State Building is one block south, Macy's is a two-block stroll, and the elegant Lord & Taylor department store, famed for its Christmas displays, is three blocks north. Times Square, Broadway theaters, and Grand Central Terminal are with a half-mile.
A Starbucks off the lobby is open from early morning until late evening. Guests can also order delivery service from nearby restaurants, or take a short walk to a wide array of gourmet and casual dining options.

Five blocks north of the hotel, Bryant Park is a Midtown oasis with tree-shaded paths perfect for short strolls. The park also offers a seasonal ice-skating rink, a French-style carousel, food kiosks, complimentary wireless Internet access, plenty of chairs and tables, wide lawns for sunning and picnicking, and wonderful views of surrounding skyscrapers.
Central Park, 1.25 miles north, encompasses 843 acres of meadows, woods, cliffs, ravines, gardens, paths, and lakes in an emerald setting. Popular walking and running routes include Central Park Drive (closed to traffic during scheduled hours) and the path around the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir. “Very pleasing hotel!”
373 is a good choice for a stay in Manhattan. The rooms are very clean and the staff are very friendly. I am sure if I had needed any further assiatance they would have been very helpful in their response. The hotel is situated reasonably close to to Subway 6 on West 33rd Street and various others on West 34th Street. I might have preferred a small fridge in the room and some people may prefer a closet or similar to hang clothes. The rooms are on the small size but acceptable. The lift functioned for the five days of my our stay. I would certainly consider a future stay...
“Would Definitely Go Back”
The hotel was in a great location and the staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much bother for them. We wanted a room higher up away from traffic noise so they changed our room no questions asked and even allowed us to check out a little later to allow us to go on a boat trip before our journey home. The room was small but I knew that when I booked and its ideal if you're only staying for a few days. Having the Oxford Cafe next door is a god send as we went there for breakfast every morning then were able to head back to the room to brush our teeth before heading out for the day. I would definitely go back to this hotel when we return to NYC - within walking distance to everything.
“Hotel 373”
Hotel 373 was a great location. The empire state building was just over the road. Time square was in walking distance to go out of an evening. There were lots of shops on 5th avenue which were also easily accesible. The staff were very helpful providing maps of the subway to get about.
“A Little Gem in the middle of Manhatten”
Hotel 373 is exactly what we expected after reading the travellers reviews. The rooms are small but more than adequate for anyone who is in Manhatten to sightsee as we were. The location is excellant, just far enough away from the crowds, but with-in easy walking distance of everything. We found the hotel to be quiet at night, modern bathroom, a/c elimated any street noise, excellant bed, wall mounted TV, no wasted space . We would recommend this hotel to anyone. . The Starbucks in the lobby or the Deli next door was a great place to plan each day.
“Ne pas hesiter...”
J'ai passe 7 nuits dans cet hotel et je n'ai pas eu le moindre souci...Chambre à la proprete impeccable de même que l'hotel, personnel très sympathique.Seul bemol, air conditionné trop bruyant dans les chambres. A noter egalement installation audio-video performante (LCD + 150 chaines du cable, dock ipod reveil). Très bon hôtel en somme!!!
“Location was fantastic”
Hotel was clean and modern being a brand new hotel. We couldnt have asked for a better location. This was our 4th year in New York and would definately stay at 373 again.

The hotel is near the empire state building so it is a quieter place to stay than being near times square. Although there is no eating place in the hotel there is a starbucks next door and a place serving great breakfasts next door but one.
“Empire state building from the window!!!”
Fantastic location... could see the empire state building from our window which was beaitful by night! Lovely walks up and down fifth, you can really walking anywhere from her its so central... Starbucks and a fantastic cafe either side of the hotel... massive cream cheese bagels for breakfast where a delight!
“Perfect location for Manhattan experience”
Small rooms are an expectation for New York accomodation, however ours as small as it was, was very comfortable and clean. We did live in a week of mess due to no storage other than a chest of drawers. The room was made up every day and the bathroom cleaned to an acceptable standard. Locted on 5th Avenue, Hotel 373 is so convenient for walking around the area of Manhattan. Right across the road is the Empire state building,which we found a handy location point when lost!! I wouldnt recommend Hotel 373 to travellers who like a quiet place to stay, the noise of traffic and constant horn tooting may not appeal to some, but it didn't bother us. All staff were friendly, accomodating and always happy to assit with any queries and requests. We will return to New York and most definately return to Hotel 373.
“A real find in New York”
This hotel had a European feel, luxury in a very small clean space in a fantastic location. Starbucks shares the entryway which is a nice way to start the day. An easy walk from Penn Station and up to the Theatre district.
