“Great Family Weekend in NYC”

Spent two nights at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and efficient. We got to the hotel mid-morning and the rooms were not ready. They offered to text when the room became available. The room was clean, beds comfortable, and bigger than expected for NYC. This hotel is close to everything, and there is always a line of cabs ready to take you where you want to go!

“Our long weekend was too short!!!”

The central location of the Hilton New York made our long 4-day weekend great!! It enabled us to hit many of Manhattan's highlights...from the Guggenheim on 89th to the SoHo on 4th. The hotel service was great, the room very clean and comfortable...and after walking all day it was a great place to relax!!

“Thanksgiving in NYC”

We had a wonderful time in NYC. The Hilton was wonderful. There were Thousands of parade participants at the hotel, but you would have never known it. The rooms were spotless and the cleaning staff were attentive to all our needs. The room was very comfortable , there were three of us in a King deluxe. The location of this hotel was the best. We walked everywhere. I would definitely stay at the Hilton my next visit to NYC.

“Fine hotel accomodations, very convenient location, helpful and friendly staff.”

Was happily surprised to receive an upgrade as soon as we were checking in. Staff was friendly and helpful. Etrusca Bistro (for dinner) in the lobby of the hotel is a hidden gem with high quality food, innovative menu and very fairly priced. The other restaurant in the lobby (breakfast and lunch) should lower its prices. Twenty-two dollars for an egg breakfast is a bit much. I can't judge the food because I didn't eat there...way too expensive.

“An amazing hotel in a great area!”

First, it is located really close to Central Park and the Plaza Hotel. Easy walk to Rockefeller Center, Trump Tower and Columbus Circle. The first view of the lobby is overwhelming. It looks like at least a hotel costing double our rate. The Deluxe room we requested was quite large and beautifully appointed. The only petty complaint is that in this day and age, WiFi or a DSL connection is not an upcharge or a luxury. This is one of the few hotels that still soaks you $20.00 a day for internet access. This is the first time I have encountered this in a long time. Room was very quiet and the restaurants and bar in the hotel were top quality. Hotel staff was very helpful. Avoid the people at the Hilton Honors Podiums. They are trying to sell you a timeshare and they are VERY AGGRESSIVE. The rope you in with the offer of a free gift and then try to sell you using every possible thing to call the timeshare except "timeshare". If you somehow get engaged in conversation, the only way to end it is to be rude and walk away. They will not give up on the sales pitch. I felt bad that they were so desperate for the commission but not bad enough to buy one. Not sure how they could fix this but the sales people are stationed in various locations in the lobby so that they are harder than usual to avoid. Great bath products and really detail oriented cleaning staff.

“Great Location”

Great hotel! We have stayed here before have been impressed both times. The hotel is centrally located between Central Park, Times Square and Rockefeller Center. The surrounding neighborhoods are safe to walk around at night. The only negative would be the mattresses were not the most comfortable but they were OK for a short stay. The hotel is a bit pricey as well but so are most hotels in NY.

“Veru Impressive”

This was my first trip to New York and it was a big birthday celebration After reading many of the reviews I was a bit hesitant but I am glad we did stay here the staff were very accommodating and pleasant with nothing ever being too much bother and very courteous. The room was cleaned every day with no complaints. We were within walking distance to all amenities so this hotel is a good location for sightseeing and shopping. I would have no problem recommending this hotel
