“Choose this hotel!”

The location is great, close to Times Square but without the hustle and bustle. Subway station a block away, but within walking distance of most theaters and plenty of restaurants close by. The breakfast is a great bonus, but if you miss it, try the Bagel Cafe. The staff was really friendly and gave helpful directions and tips. We will stay here next time!

“Great location/Great Staff”

This was my first trip to NYC and the hotel made my experience top notch. The location of the hotel is only a block away from time square and all of the major broadway shows. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff is also very friendly and even stored are bags for us after check out. We will definitely be staying at the hampton inn on our next trip to NYC.

“Very welcoming and helpful staff”

The hotel was perfect. We stayed for one night in a room with our 2 children, with tickets to an 8PM Mary Poppins show. The hotel staff themselves were the best feature. We were always greeted with a smile and everyone was helpful with whatever we needed (suggestion for where to grab a quick dinner, directions to where we wanted to go, assistance in the breakfast room, holding our luggage after check-out while we did our sightseeing on Day 2, etc.) The most creative suggestion the staff made was to go up the Empire State Bldg AFTER our Broadway show, since the observation deck is open until 2:00 AM. They were right -- there were NO LINES at midnight! And looking out over Manhattan at night was nice. The hotel location was a walkable distance from all the places we wanted to go (theatre, EmpireStateBldg, Pier 78 for boat tour around lower Manhattan, Central Park). The hotel room was spacious and clean, and the beds were comfortable. The included breakfast was very good -- a variety of choices that satisfied all our different tastes. There was even a cook-your-own waffle station! We also liked that the complimentary coffee was available outside the breakfast room 24 hrs a day.

“Few complaints”

Hard to find fault with the hotel. Staff were excellent, room spotless. Bit disappointed in the breakfast as there was little choice for vegetarians - and diabetics had to steer well clear of the mountains of cakes and pastries. There was also some building work going on next door, but that didn't start till after 9am and was finished by around 5pm so didn't affect us. Overall, big thumbs up

“Great Hotel”

Spent the weekend in New York with friends. This was a great place to stay. Within walking distance to many sights. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The beds were comfy and the full breakfast was a very nice extra. I would stay here again.

“Totally Satisfied”

Everything went smoothly from start to finish on our 2 night stay. The bellman was extremely pleasant and the front desk was very polite and efficient. Our room was very comfortable and more spacious than expected. The included breakfast had quite a nice variety of choices. I loved the modern decor too. This hotel is in an excellent location; convenient to all of the popular areas.

“All it should be”

The Hampton Inn Times Square North justifies its 3-star rating. It is clean and tidy with a fine location. Its morning breakfast was a welcome relief from the prices of NYC diners. Its stafff was universally pleasant and helpful. The room was well-apppointed and comfortable

“Nice Theater District Hotel”

The hotel was very clean. Although it's located in an older building, the property had been nicely updated. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
