The path, built above vehicular traffic, provides spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline, the bustling East River, and, in the distance, the Statue of Liberty. Plaques by the bridge's soaring Gothic arches detail the history of this 19th-century engineering marvel. The entrance to the path is near City Hall Park, less than a half-mile from the hotel.

“Friendliest hotel EVER!”

The staff were so helpful and courteous. Went out of their way to make reservations, book transportation, and overall take care of us. Most helpful and thoughtful staff of any hotel we have ever stayed. The hotel's location is quiet and in a nice part of lower Manhattan. The only "slight" negative would be the 10 min walk to a subway station. However, the friendliness of the staff outweigh this oversight. Will DEFINITELY recommend this to anyone traveling to NYC.

“A little Jem!”

This hotel was a little Jem!...the rooms were very clean...all the staff were excellent...very friendly and helpful...the breakfast was always good and plenty of it...and lots of little extras like cookies at night and chocolates on Valentines Day. The hotel is close to the Subway at Fulton St...Pier 17 for lots of food places to eat and also lots of shops. The Statan Island ferry is a short walk as is the Brooklyn Bridge...9/11 Memorial..; and the Financial District...an excellent hotel in an excellent location!

“Superb service! A hidden treasure...”

The Hampton NY Financial District is a hidden gem in the city. This is a fairly quiet location with a great service staff! We needed or luggage stowed at both the beginning and end of the stay and the staff was overwhelmingly helpful. The breakfast is the best we enjoyed on our 8-day trip. For the price and the service at the property, you can't go wrong! The rooms are very small (typical NY), but clean and very comfortable.

“Would go back.”

The hotel was great and staff was even better. Breakfast was good and fresh. We had two rooms and one was a little on the small cramped side.
