“New York March Break 2012”
Valet parking is horribly expensive: 33 for one hour
The hotel room and bathroom is large, especially for a big city. All the staff are very friendly, especially the concierge and doormen. They are quite accomodating for families, and had a welcome gift that was age appropriate for the children. The restuarant and spa are very expensive. This is definitely a 5 star hotel, and I would stay there again on my next visit to NYC.
“Outstanding Stay - Will return”
I find myself in NY at least 2 times a year. It's a destination where I am far enough from home where I can't be reached easily and close enough where I can hop a direct flight. For many years I've been staying at Essex House. The opportunity came and we celebrated our honeymoon at the Four Seasons. Where do I start! The hotel has a grand, quiet elegance the minute you enter the lobby. The hotel staff is top of their field and the location is excellent. The rooms are large, very clean, classic modern without being over done. The bathrooms are 'huge' and perfect. I know this may sound odd to some of you...but the water pressure is outstanding! The bath tub fills up in something ridiculous ...2 minutes!! (I need to speak to engineering about how they did this..need to add this feature to my next house build). There is a REAL walk-in closet.....in some NY hotels this would be a room!?! And ladies.....the lighting...the most amazing lighting I've ever encountered...made me want to walk around in the nik....I didn't cringe every time I passed a mirror!! I really can't say enough about the hotel, the staff, the cleanliness and the general aura of the hotel. One leaves the hustle of the city outside the doors of the hotel to experience a relaxed, elegant and yet simple atmosphere. The room service is excellent, the food perfect....I highly recommend.
“NYC's best hotel!”
First time experience with a Four Seasons hotel and I was extremely impressed. Unless you see first-hand what differentiates a 4-star hotel with a 5-star hotel, it truly is the service and the experience. ALL hotel staff were friendly and courteous. Despite not having chocolates on your pillow when turn-down service is requested compared to other Four Seasons, the upgrade to a Superior Room was worth every dollar.
“Perfect stay at Four Seasons New York”
Perfect stay Wonderful staff World-class concierge
“Highly recommend The Four Seasons New York”
you can't get any better than the Four Seasons -- good location near Central Park, friendly staff, wonderful rooms and the little touches that make it a five star hotel.
“Love New York!!!!”
Great hotel! Right in the heart of Manhattan, walking distance to all major sites, theatre district, wonderful restaurants and Central Park. Would definitely revisit!
“Perfect NY Experience”
Do take advantage of the wonderful concierge service...made all the difference to our trip. Also the amenities in the spa/fitness centre are superb!
I would recommend this hotel to others. It was a great experience. I liked that the hotel was not located in Times Square, but rather a quick walk away.
“Definitely go back”
One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Would absolutely go back and likely will. One very very small item, no irons in the rooms so had to pay $36 to press two dress shirts. (A bit Expensive, but it is the Four Seasons). Concierge made excellent recommendations and reservations for our dinners outside the hotel.
