“Excellent hotel and great location”

This hotel is truly amazing. This was my second time staying here. I booked it again because my first experience was so great. My second stay was just as good. This hotel is in a great location. Only two blocks from Times Square. It's right beside a subway station too, which is handy. Since it's a very central location, you can walk to most attractions. The hotel staff are so friendly and very thoughtful. When we arrived, our room wasn't ready, so they gave a free drink at the bar while we waited. We only had to wait about 15 mins. I requested a room as high up as they could give us. We got a room on the 29th floor, facing Times Square. The room was super quiet. Didn't hear our neighbours, or the elevators. My boyfriend forgot to pack his toothbrush, so I called housekeeping, and they rushed up to us rigth away with one :o) We also bought the breakfast as part of our package. They have a really great breakfast buffet there.

“3.5 Star Hotel with 5 Star Service”

Stayed here for 3 nights during memorial day weekend and the service was great. We arrived at 7:30am by bus, which is much earlier than the 3pm check-in time and they had a room ready for us. The view from the hotel wasn't much to look at, but you're in New York City, you're not there for the hotel. Overall great price, great location (literally around the corner from the 42nd street Port Authority bus terminal) and amazing service! Highly recommended.

“Clean Comfortable Gem in Downtown Manhattan”

As first time visitors to NYC and so many hotel choices in Manhattan, the big selling feature of this property is that it is a 'smoke-free' hotel. The rooms were clean, beds very comfortable and had modern amenities such as HDTV. The hotel is located across from the Port Authority Bus Terminal which was ideal because we took a bus to New Jersey to visit Carlos Bakery and it was so convenient, we were there and back in less than 3 hours. The rooms are a bit compact, with a limited view, but we spent so little time in the room, it really did not matter. The hotel was also very quiet at night making for a good night's rest.

“Most Excellent Hotel. Highly recommended.”

This was my third time visiting NYC. However, this was my first time staying at the Four Points by Sheraton. Was super hotel! The staff were amazing, tending to our every need. I asked if they could put us high up, which they were able to do at no extra charge. We had a 22nd floor room facing Times Square. The beds were super nice, very clean, and sooooo comfy. Fantastic bathroom in our room. Squeeky clean, fresh new towels and all the toiletries we needed. I found that the safe in our room didn't work. The battery in the digial keypad had died. I called the front desk, and a guy was up in about 20 mins to fix it. Truly attentive people, and excellent service. For all you rural dwellers, a word of caution on the noise level. No matter where you stay in NYC, it's going to be noisy at night. Sirens, trucks backing up, garbage trucks doing their rounds. I personally don't hear it much as I live in the down town core in Toronto, so I'm used to it. Everything is very close by. Subway was on the same block as us (40th & 8th), lots of food around. Duane Reade drugs store on the corner (great for snacks and supplies) 5 min walk from Times Square, 15 min walk from Macy's and Empire State Bldg. Cafe Duke on 42nd and Broadway does a great B-fast. Yum! Get a metro pass if you're going to move around a lot. Feet get tired fast. You can buy passes in the station at any kiosk (cash or credit). Book your trip now, stop thinking about it! :o)

“I would go back”

Good hotel. Clean. Polite staff. Comfortable bed. Good situation, near Times Square, subway lines. Everything was OK except from the expensive prices of the restaurant (but nothing surprising here... that's often the case). We always went somewhere else for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

“Best Location”

I would stay at this location again. Walking distance to Time square and shopping. The staff were very friendly and helped me on how to use the trian because I was abit afriad to use it buto use it and got around safely. The only thing I didn't like was the A/C. I had a hard time using it. The room at times felt dry especially at night . But otherwise I would stay there again 5stars for this Hotel.

“Perfect hotel for weekend getaway to New York City”

I was pleasantly surprised with everything at this hotel. It was small, cozy and compact but had everything you needed. The beds were super comfortable. The service and staff were utmost helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was great. I was initially worried about the location of the hotel (being across from the bus terminal) but this was not a problem. It was close to the action at Times Square and in close walking distance to many attractions. I would highly recommend it and would return next time I come to New York City. Great hotel!
