“Great hotel”
This hotel was amazing, friendly staff, clean room with a great location
“Nice little gem, easy to get to.”
Great location and great hotel. Not sure that something similar couldn't be had for the same or better price but this was nice and clean. I will say that I was quite surprised at how the subway could be heard on the 4th floor and shook the whole building. I know that is normal in NYC but I hadn't been in years and forgot. Wasn't enough to keep me awake.
“Great alternative to W or Ace”
Booked instead of Ace or W where I usually stay, which keep on raising their prices. This was a great half the price alternative. It is not as "happening" as those hotels yet, but still a nice boutique feel with a great location and great price as they start the hotel up.
“A getaway from a getaway.”
The room is a bit small. However, being that it is New York, it was understandable. The ambiance of the room and the hotel is very modern and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. I felt like the hotel was a getaway from NY even though NY was my weekend getaway. It was nice coming back to this hotel after a long day touring NY. I would definitely stay again.
“Would easily recommend and would stay again.”
Excellent hotel in an excellent part of town. Lovely clean and refurbished room with all mod cons (including TV in the bathroom!) Hotel staff were nice and polite (had little to do with them as no complaints during our stay.) Hotel were kind and kept our luggage before room was ready and after check out time until we went to the airport. Easy walking distance to Macys/ Time square but far enough away to be quieter and out of the bustle in the evenings. Only bad thing was there was no security safe in the bedroom.
“Fabulous Stay!”
My wife and I stay in the city for winter weekend getaways...and this Hotel by far, was the most fun! We can't wait to go back!
“Nice hotel”
Totally stay here again. Nice, clean hotel. Good location and nice staff
“Great location - clean, comfortable and convenient”
Convenient location within the city (Chelsea District). . . .central to Times Square, Wall Street, Greenwich Village, Soho - close to Tour bus "hop-on, hop-off" stops that gave us access to the rest of the city. The staff were courteous and helpful. The room wasn't huge . . . we were a family of four staying in a two double-bed room . . . but when you're in New York, it's not about spending time in your room. This hotel was a great value - clean, comfortable and very convenient. Perfect base from which to enjoy the city.
“Good location.”
What we liked best was the location, except for a good breakfast place. We suggest looking down around 20th on Broadway. We got the little room by the elevator, but that's to be expected at the lower price. It was still reasonably quiet. The did a good job with noise control in the redo.
“Perfect girls weekend in NY!”
The gentlemen at the door were always so helpful and friendly. There were a lot of good options for dinner close to the hotel.
