“Nice place to stay!”
I was very satisfied with the hotel,the staff was pleasant and the breakfast was excellent.I would recommend it to friends and relatives.In addition it was very close to the Astoria-Ditmars train/subway station that carries the N&Q lines which take you to the heart of Manhattan..plus the hotel provided a shuttle service.

All the employees we encountered at the desk were very friendly and helpful. The shuttle to the airport and to the subway was a huge help, and a money-saver. The complimentary breakfast was decent and the workers there were very friendly and kept the coffee and food stocked.

Service was remarkable at this hotel. Everyone was friendly and eager to do their best to help with issues and questions. Rooms were comfortable and the hotel is conveniently located very close to Laguardia airport. Overall, I was very satisfied and service exceeded my expectations.

Friendly and helpful staff and good continental breakfast, clean, comfortable rooms, and efficient shuttle service makes this a nice place to stay. Short subway ride to Manhattan and a quiet safe neighborhood. I don't need to find another place to stay when I go to NYC.

“Perfect place to stay while visiting Manhattan”
We were made to feel welcome as soon as we were picked up at the airport by the hotel shuttle driver. There were several items we had to bring to the attention to the maintenance crew & they were IMMEDIATELY repaired. Perfect home away from home !

“Marvelous Hotel and Great Location”
This is a marvelous hotel. Great location! It's a commercial area, but very safe -- we walked out after dark frequently with no problems at all. Head down to Steinway St (just 5 short blocks) for terrific food and bakeries. The room was crowded (what do you expect with a king size bed?), but everything was very clean and it was very comfortable; the bathroom was a decent size. The staff was AMAZING!!! I showed them where I wanted to go and they helped me to figure out which subway stops to use. Great selections for breakfast. Sure, your best bet for eggs is a Jimmy Dean sandwich, but it's good nutrition. The waffles were a hit, the coffee was hot. This hotel is a great find! Just a short ride into Manhattan and easy access to Central Park, Times Square, etc.

They went out of their way to make sure I was happy and comfortable. The shuttle service to the subway station was great, the room was clean and comfortable. It was not overly noisy at all. The people working there were kind. I will definitely return!

Doing apartment search in Upper West Side, Williamsburg and Astoria areas for son moving to NYC in fall. Asked Fairfield staff to arrange taxi for scheduled apartment appt. They ordered town car service (less expensive than taxi), had absolutely wonderful driver who steered us into best, safest neighborhoods that had all ammenities we were looking for. We asked alot from the staff and they treated us so well. Very pleasantly surprised! Breakfast was nice, as well! Would definitely return.
