“Great for visiting the Meadowlands Complex”
The hotel looks and feels brand new but is about 15yrs old. Very quiet even with 3 busloads of people staying there. Can't think of a better place to stay when going to the Meadowlands. Great price, spacious room, good continental breakfast.
“Good compromise for a NYC stay”
This hotel's location is great, especially if you want to go to NYC. It has a FREE parking and it was very easy to find. The main reason we picked that hotel was because it has a bus stop right infront which drops you at Port Authority Station, right smack downtown Manhattan. It's clean (there was no bed bugs, that we've seen nor brought back any!) and even if it needs a little "refreshing", it was a pleasant stay.

Review Title: VERY CONVENIENT TO NYC: EXCELLENT BREAKFAST Hotel Review: Very convenient to Times Square via bus (typical times from bus stop outside of hotel to/from Port Authority @ 42 & 8th Ave were 15-20 minutes). Free breakfast offered a lot of variety. Rooms were clean and quiet. Staff were courteous & helpful. Taxi to Newark International approximately 20 minutes @ a very reasonable cost. Stayed April 26 through April 29, 2007.

Très bon séjour. A savoir: l'hotel est en zone industrielle situé à 20 minutes à pied du giant stadium. Un bus au pied de l'hotel permet de relier Manhattan en 25-30 min permettant des visites quoidiennes de New-York. Bon accueil à l'hotel

The hotel was close to everything, the complex was easy to get to and the staff was very helpful. Easy to get to New York from here. We had a very enjoyable time.
“Very happy we chose this hotel”
We wanted a good price, free parking and easy shuttle/access into NYC. Nice and clean. Continental breakfast was great: waffles, bagels, cereal, muffins, breakfast sandwiches, etc. Check in/out was very quick and easy. We have 4 people and there were only 3 bath towels but they brought up more to our room within 5 minutes of our call. One of our teenagers forgot their toothbrush and they quickly brought us one (and toothpaste). Very friendly, helpful staff. For trips to NYC, NJ Transit bus picks you up (stops are every few minutes) right in front of the hotel for $4.25 per person one way (buy a return ticket and save your receipt, makes it easier to come back without buying a ticket in NYC). It's about a 20 minute ride. We had to stand several times due to a full bus! NOTE: the return bus lets you off across the street (there is a light for safe crossing). But keep a lookout so you don't miss your stop or tell the driver when you get on. We found them to be very helpful. ALSO this is not part of the METRO system so a METRO card is not valid. Our teens went to a concert at New Meadowlands Stadium. Pretty close by but would NOT recommend walking - not a direct path and it's among buildings and fields. We found it pretty easy to get them there and back. Wish the hotel had a pool after all the walking in NYC! Hard to find a restaurant convenient because of all the one-ways and few left turn lanes but overall we were very satisified and would stay here again.
“Great hotel for the $$”
The hotel was good for the $. Clean rooms. Good condition & comfort. Staff very nice & helpful. Local Transit bus stops often in front of hotel to take you straight to Manhattan. For $3.15 each way. (Better than $50 for a cab) Check schedule carefully. Don't expect to walk to the Meadowlands Sports Complex. Too Far!!! It's not quiet adjacent to this hotel. There is a good restaurant "Charlie Browns" about a 1/2 block away. Free Breakfast @ hotel, Bagels, Muffins, French Toast Sticks & stuff. But, no meat) I would stay again...Great Experience :)
“great experience”
We travelled to Rutherford to see the Giants play their first game in the new stadium. (also stayed for the jets monday night game). The hotel was just great and the front desk & housekeeping staff were above & beyond helpful with directions, advice, etc. There is a private car/van service that will take you to/from the games for $10/head each way. We took it TO the 1st game and walked home. We walked to and from the Monday game. The stadium is about a mile away and it was a leisurely 20 minute walk. I had read earlier about the NJ Transit bus service that stops right in front of the hotel and for $4.25 and a 15 minute drive, you are at the port authority in midtown Manhattan, just a few blocks from Times Square. Very convenient. We bought our return tickets right away (another tip I had read) and whenever you feel like going home you just go back to the port authority and line up at the correct gate. The hotel has a schedule with return times and gate numbers. Overall a very pleasant experience....I would do it again.
