“Awesome”

Everone was so nice. I needed help with the wifi and the guy at the front desk was so nice. I brung my computer to him and he set it up himself. Checking out was so simple. When I checked out, Ana at the front desk made things simple. Ana was a delight.

“One dirty room ALMOST ruined a good experience!”

Stayed for 2 nights. Front Desk staff was Amazing. Hotel is in a decent location, however, we went during construction time - took an hour to travel from Whitestone Bridge to hotel. Usually takes 15 minutes. Biggest dissapointment was returning to room in evening to discover room wasn't cleaned.

“Good places to stay”

Im not picky when it comes to hotel. Very clean. Lots of space. But no printer and fitness gym. Thats the only things i think must have for a hotel like this size. Overall is good.

“Added costs”

Added cost for parking at $20/day was a surprise! Also that the cost for a late checkout at $20/hour! Beware of possible additional costs in the fine print! The only soda/water machine in the hotel was out of order with no other bottled water available from the front desk.

“You Get What You Pay For”

For the check-in on 02/18/2011, all went well except for the man at the front desk complaining that his room had not been cleaned in 2 days and the receptionist who thought it was good customer service to argue with him about it while she was checking me in. Additionally, the first night we were there, 02/18/2011, the heat did not work and no one answered the phone at the front desk. It was working in the room we checked into on 02/26/2011. Although this time the receptionist gave me a hard time about checking in for my father even though the room was paid for on my credit card. Same receptionist both times. I realize they probably don't pay their employees very much but some basic customer service skills are not beyond what should be reasonably expected.

“It is ok for NY, 7-10 min away from LGA”

Ive been to many hotels in NY and you basically pay for what you get. I was shocked that the lobby and common areas were clean. It was about 7-10 minutes away LGA, close to shopping centers and the movies.The room was ok because it had a kitchenette which is convienient however I woke up the next day with 5 bite marks on my body. I dont know if I will ever come back to this hotel.
