“If you are looking for location, location, location, you just found it!!!”
We loved the Doubletree Guest Suites in Times Square. They give you warm Cookies when you check in, which are soooo good we have ordered them from home. The room was very nice, the bed was soooo comfortable. Bed comfort is my biggest problem with most hotels, the beds at Double tree are 5 star comfort. And they give you lots of pillows. The room has a safe, personal fridge, microwave and mini bar located away from the personal fridge, which is great when you have kid's, so they don't empty the mini bar. The two room suite was very comfortable. The breakfast bar in the Center Stage Restaurant on the 5th floor was very good with a chef that prepares your eggs to order and makes you waffles and pancakes on request. And of course they happen to be right in the middle of times Square with awesome veiws. This is truly the best hotel in the most excitng part of New York City. Very friendly staff, we were extremely happy here.
“Nous y retournons dès que possible!”
Un excellent hôtel, idéal pour les familles avec les enfants ! Proche de tout les attractions de New York, vraiment rein mal à dire!
“Great view, more than competent service...”
We went to NY on our second honeymoon; the first thing that surprised us was the spectacular view of Times Square from our room on the 27th floor. Don't expect the glamour of a five star resort, but more than adequate if you're on a leisure trip, as we were, and didn't plan on staying in our room for extended periods of time. Overall the room was confortable, clean and pretty well maintained. The only glitch was an uncooperative minibar which would not open, but the maintenance staff took care of that in just a few minutes. Did not use Gym, Business Center, Cafe nor Restaurants, so we can't really comment on those. Also, a good point for this hotel is it's location, since it's within walking distance of most theatres, Rockefeller Center, Madame Tussaud's, even the Empire State building. Also just a couple of blocks away from the major tour bus line. Security's pretty tight, so expect to present your room key every single time you walk in, to be allowed into the lobby. All around courteos staff. Would definitely stay there again.
“In the Heart of Times Square”
I would love to go back and would definately stay there again. As a solo traveler, I appreciated the security at the bottom floor near the street, you had to show your key to get upstairs to the hotel. Wireless fee was a bit much, but reliable.
“Very nice room”
Enjoyed my large and comfortable rooms!
“Great hotel with excellent location”
The DOobletree had the best hotel bed and pillows I have ever experienced. If you are doing Broadway the location couldn't be better. It is close to everything.
“Excellent service and accomodations! Can't wait to go back!!”
Our stay at the DoubleTree Times Square was fantastic! Our room was very clean and roomy. Everyone on the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely reccomend this hotel. As for location, it is in the heart of everything tourists love to do!
“GREAT hotel for families & fantastic view of Times Square!”
Hotel took great care of us! The one suite/ two room design allowed for us to avoid having to book two separate rooms - a real saver. The suite was well maintained, very comfortable, and quiet. We purposely booked a corner room overlooking Times Square and it was fantastic (and had well lined curtains so we could sleep at night!). Concierge of particular value and breakfast team friendly, food excellent (fresh, nutritious, and great coffee). Stay there again in an heartbeat.
“LOVED IT!”
We had a blast, can't wait to go back! Location, location, location. large rooms.
“The Best Location”
This Hotel is near of everything, you can walk, use metro, bike, etc. The Restaurant it's kind of expensive and with a very limited menu. But there is a very small restaurant next to the hotel in which you can do breakfast! The Suites have micro and refrigerator so you can do some groceries, it is helpful if you want to save money when you are traveling with teenagers. The people in the hotel is very friendly and they know the needs of the guests so they are aware of that. The rooms are awsome with an incredible views. We were at the 31st floor so any noise at all even the hotel is located in the heart of Times Square.
