“Cheap, Quiet, Clean”

Friendly front desk. Clean. Quiet. I would stay here anytime if I want a cheap hotel near midtown. Yes the elevator got overwhelmed at times, but i wasn't there to see my room. Great quiet night sleep

“Definitely will make a return visit.”

the staff was extremely friendly and helpful -- knowledge of the neighborhood was good. The patio in front made for excellent people-watching. Our room, while a little small, was very clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Great bang for the buck.

“Comfy, cozy and a true delight!”

We loved this hotel. Everything you'd expect from a DoubleTree, including the warm chocolate chip cookies. Hotel staff was extremely nice and accommodating, especially for the bad rap that New Yorkers often get! We were very pleased with our room, its cleanliness and the comfort. Yes, the room is quite small but it is Manhattan overall! We actually thought it was kind of amusing how small it was. It was just my husband and I though, so we didn't mind sharing the space. Hotel is a nice and easy walk to Times Square, which we loved as well.

“Very comfortable, clean, and well maintained”

I stayed on the 14th floor - very clean, cool, and comfortable room; a reasonable size; and at a manageable NYC price range. The area might be less than ideal for a single woman at night but it is great during the day/evening. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. definitely a good and a comfortable place to stay in a reasonable and well managed hotel.

“Great choice!! You'll never regret it!”

The staff were so accommodating and friendly. They understood we were throwing a bachelorette party and help us prepare for it. Will definitely recommend them to my friends and family. The location was close to many fun areas like Korea town and walking distance from many popular areas of NYC. It was comfortable and was an added bonus to am already amazing trip.

“Cozy Little Nest”

The Chelsea Doubletree is a clean, modern place in a wholesale district. My room was on the 23rd floor with a partial view of the Empire State Building. Everything was packed neatly into this tiny space. The coffee-maker was in the top drawer of the bureau but at least it was available. So many other NYC hotels don't include that feature. Chelsea isn't your fanciest address but it's so convenient to get to midtown, the Village, etc. I'd consider staying here again.
