“Doubletree review”
Good location, nice room, but bed so large it was difficult to move around.

Room was a little small, but it is expected for staying in the city. King size bed was very comfortable and room overall clean and cozy.

“Convenient to Penn Station and the theatres”
We stayed here on a Saturday night in May. The location is fantastic if you are traveling through Penn Station -- it's just three blocks away so there's no need to stand in a taxi line. It's also pretty close to the theatre district -- we did not take a single cab all weekend. We arrived at the hotel a little after noon and left our bags as our room was not yet ready. Checked in after seeing a matinee. The hotel was quiet. Room was small but very nice. On Sunday, we checked out and again left our bags with the friendly staff, then went to another matinee. We were able to swing back by and pick up the bags before catching our train. I will definitely stay here again.
“Decent Hotel for a great price”
The rate we got made this hotel a very good value for $$. The room was smallish but comfortable and nicely furnished. The bathroom was nice, a decent size, but no tub - only a shower stall. Room service food was good, but expensive. Did not eat in the restaurant, but it seems pleasant enough. We found all the staff very helpful. Housekeeping missed restocking the coffee supplies and replacing used glassware with clean ones, but overall was fine - the room was made up and clean.
