“A nice bargain and, literally, only minutes away from New York”

Face it, unless you're staying in a hostel,(and they don't provide free parking) you will pay at least $100 a night to stay in New York, and that's in the outer boroughs. This place is clean and safe, and you're only 0.15 miles from a Park-N-Ride into New York via the Lincoln Tunnel. You can actually walk to the Park-N-Ride and go round trip to the city for $2, but because of road construction and lack of lighting at night, just drive over and it's $7. (The hotel offers a shuttle into the city, but the Park-N-Ride is better if you don't want to be tied down to specific times.) The bus, even on weekends, runs from 7 in the morning (5:40 weekdays) to 1 a.m. (12:30 Sundays) They take you right into the Port Authority on 42nd street, and Times Square is right there. The Port Authority has its own subway station. Look, if you're going to New York, all you need is a safe and clean place to sleep. This is it. It doesn't hurt, however, that the staff are pleasant and courteous.

“Very nice hotel”

We enjoyed staying at this hotel very much. The only complaint is the shuttle service into New York that works out of their hotel was terrible!

“Great place for a visit to NYC!”

I read a review for this hotel that said that the Holiday Inn Express next door looked nicer. Thankfully I didn't follow this advice & went with the Days Inn. The hotel was easy to find (driving) and was very close to the Lincoln Tunnel. The guy at the check in desk was very kind & friendly. We were very impressed by the decor - very modern & funky & clean. Based on some of the reviews I read before leaving, I was very pleasantly surprised. They have obviously spruced the place up. The room was spacious, quiet, clean & nice. The shuttle bus is a bit of a rip-off (price-wise) -- I heard that there are local shuttles for much cheaper if you walk a few blocks -- but it was VERY convenient. I would DEFINITELY recommend this hotel (in fact, I did already ... and the people who went there loved it as well). Great value for the NYC area!

“Close to New York city, very nice”

Hotel was very clean and more than my wife and I expected. The staff was great, very helpful and friendly. The lobby restaurant is a nice place to snag a quick, good breakfast. Nice prices also. If you don't want to drive into New York city, this is the place to stay. Huge parking lot.(Free parking)Also, they have a shuttle to Times Square and a nearby bus station. Air conditioning worked great and was sure needed on a hot August day. My wife and I stayed here 2 nights and definitely stay again. Anybody who doesn't like this place either likes to spend money or complain.

“quite pleased”

The furnishing and decoration of the hotel is very contemporary, much better than some of the upper scale hotels I have stayed. The shuttle is horrible, more expensive and not on time either. It is much easier to take the small white shuttle to NYC in front of either Motel 8 or Toys R Us. Will come back again next time going to NYC.

“Happy to go back”

I was pleasantly surprised with the overall condition of our room and with the staff. Everything was clean and pleasant from the entrance to our room. The shuttle into the city was a tremendous plus, and the driver was very conscientious and thoughtful. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise and the staff there too, was very friendly and courteous.

“I loved it”

Aside from the occasional New Jersey attitude everything worked out great. The in house restaurant was amazing, my wife and I started each day with an omelet or some type of delicious breakfast that was well prepared. I recommend this hotel to anyone that can't afford to stay in down town New York City but want to be within a 10 minute shuttle ride of Times Square. Overall I enjoyed my stay.
