“Greatest hotel bargain in the New York area”
Why did this hotel get such bad reviews? I held my breath and expected the worst, but I was pleasantly surprised. I found the staff very pleasant and helpful. My room was not luxurious, but it was sufficiently roomy, quiet, the bathroom was granite with modern fixtures, hot water came immediately. Breakfast had plenty of choices, free metro maps (but you have to ask for it). Shuttle service to and from airport, metro station was free, and the driver even came after me to be sure I went in the right entrance. For less than $150 in the New York area, this is a deal that can't be beat!
“Good Value for money”
Stayed one night at this economy hotel near the JFK airport and was happily surprised. Fresh baked cookies available for free at reception, nice clean (if small) room, free breakfast and free shuttle to airport made this a very good value for the cost. I would stay there again.

The room was nice and clean. The continental breakfast was a nice touch as well.

“Pretty good for the money .....”
A little above average for a Day's Inn. The rooms were a little small, but it was comfortable nonetheless. The breakfast was good also. Everything was clean. Free parking and a computer you can use for free too.
“Perfect for Airport”
Spotlessly clean, though small. Perfect for early morning departure. Shuttle bus was on the half hour and very busy.
“What a great city.”
Great budget hotel, very close to JFK with free shuttle that operates when it says it will. Allow at least an hour to get to city via public transport. (Easily done by, getting reception to book a taxi to the metro in Jamaica(too far to walk) and buy metrocard which will allow you to travel easily around NYC. We had a fantastic Easter break and will defiately visit again.
“Loved this Hotel”
This hotel while a little remote was one of the best I have ever stayed in. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the shuttle to the airport was also very prompt and friendly. The room was on the small side but very clean and comfortable. I would stay there again in a heartbeat and would recommend anyone I knew stay there as well.

After a long flight it was a very nice comfortable stay.
