“Perfect for visiting the Meadowlands”
The purpose of my visit was to go to the Meadowlands. The hotel was conveniently located and was very easy to find. The hotel was attractive both outside and inside. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful. They told me that a shuttle (unaffiliated with the hotel) runs between the hotel and stadium. That was an extra convenience I did not expect. The room was neat, clean, and spacious. I have only two minor complaints. The bed pillows were too firm for me. Also, the signage to the overflow parking was not clear regarding how to find the ramp to the second floor. Otherwise, the hotel offered a perfect stay. I would definitely would stay there again.
“Very impressed!”
The hotel was very affordable and is a perfect base to explore New York. Rooms were excellent, service and manger were exceptional. No complaints at all and we felt that the manager really went out of his way to help us where he could. If you are a family and likely to want breakfast, it's probably better to get 'all inclusive', as breakfast ended up quite costly for 5 of us! Would definitely use again. The hotel is a 15-20 minute bus trip to NYC. The bus stop is literally out of the hotel and on the corner. You can catch a 192 or 199 to 42nd Street, (the Port Authority) for $4.25 one way. If you're catching the bus back, you need to get your tickets before boarding the bus.
“Good stay Bad Breakfast staff”
Great stay front desk staff welcomed me every time I passed by. I was made to feel important. My only complaiint would be of the waitress staff for breakfast. I felt like I was being rushed. One waitress iinsisted that I did not prepay when I cleary did.

“Great stay”
We have used this hotel many times in the past, but were even more pleased this visit. They used the "double sheet" on the bed. I think this is much more sanitary than the spread. The king mattress and sheets were wonderful. We both got a very good nights rest.

The Courtyard Marriott in Lyndhurst, NJ was a great selection for my recent trip. If you are searching for a hotel within a close proximity to the City (NY) this is the one. I love to visit the city but when I am preparing to turn in for the night I like a calmer environment. The restaurant in the hotel was not bad and anything you needed from the front desk was immediately supplied. I would definitely recommend.
“Love It”
This hotel is the best in the area. Convenient to Manhattan and NJ shopping. The staff bend over backwards to accomodate any requests. We have stayed there now 3 times and are getting ready to go back.
“Courtyard Marriot, Lyndhurst, NJ”
This hotel is in a great spot for those who want to visit NYC or north NJ. It's located next to Route 3 which takes you into NYC and it will also take you to the NJ Turnpike which you can take to other areas. The hotel is neat, clean, modern rooms and they have great coffee in the mornings. Parking is right in the back. A Subway restaurant next door for some quick food, and a diner across the street. I always stay here when I go to NJ. Its 30 minutes from the Newark airport. Don't tell too many people about this hotel and let's keep a good thing for ourselves. Just kidding!!!
“Would definately Recommend Based on our stay”
As a single mother traveling alone with my 13 year old daughter I was extremely satisfied with the location, we felt extremely safe at the hotel and the convenience of the NJ transit stop at the corner of the hotel. We took the bus over into NY everyday and came back every evening and we did not have any problems. It cost us less than $20 round trip. Beats driving in NY and trying to find place to park. I would highly recommend this hotel and its location to women traveling alone with children to have a great time in NY.
“Convenient and comfortable”
The rates at other hotels in the area have been rising, so the Courtyard suddenly became a viable choice. It's just a few blocks from our customer's location in Lyndhurst, so it is very convenient, however in the past, the rates took it out of the picture. The only reason I would not make this my "default" hotel is because breakfast is not included. The only breakfast option is the full hot breakfast buffet at approx. $12 US. I am not a big breakfast eater, and I can't justify 12 bucks for a cup of OJ and a muffin. A continental option would be good. For now, I will just opt out of the breakfast, and get something at the bagel shop.
