“Country Inn & Suites New York City : qualité et tranquillité”

Ce n'est pas forcément facile de trouver un hôtel de qualité proche de NYC quand on doit se limiter à un certain budget et c'est pourquoi je recommande cet hôtel. Bon rapport qualité/prix, les chambres sont très agréables, le PDJ complet, etc... Ayant travaillé dans l'hôtellerie je sais juger un hôtel de qualité et celui là en est un !

“Convenient and Friendly”

The experience with the hotel was excellent. We arrived and were able to check in right away and having pre-paid checking out was simple. We were able to leave our luggage and come back to pick it up before heading to the airport. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and helpful. The staff we spoke with were able to speak English well enough and we could understand them and them us. The breakfast area can get a bit crowded but we still never had an issue in finding a place to sit. The hotel is only a couple blocks from the subway and we used it everyday and it was easy to understand and convenient. We never felt unsafe in the area at night walking to the hotel after returning. As for seeing homeless individuals, it was no more or less than I have run into in other cities and there was never an issue with anyone. For the price and convenience I would definitely stay here again.

“Hôtel Country Inn à New York”

Excellent séjour à l'hôtel Country Inn, hôtel très propre, lit très confortable et chambre nettoyée tous les jours, le wifi gratuit fonctionne à merveille. Petit déjeuner copieux. La salle est un peu petite mais cela ne nous a pas dérangés car nous déjeunions assez tôt (vers 7h). La seule chose que je reprocherais au personnel est qu'il ne nous demande rien quand on rentre dans l'hôtel, on a l'impression que tout le monde pourrait y rentrer. Sinon le quartier est très sûr, nous sommes rentrés plusieurs fois vers 23h-23h30 en métro et n'avons ressenti aucune crainte, loin de là. A côté de l'hôtel se trouve une station service, très pratique si on a soif ou un petit creux (les prix ne sont vraiment pas excessifs). La liaison avec Manhattan est vraiment facile, le métro est tout proche (Queensboro plaza). Je recommanderais cet hôtel à quiquonque voudrait partir à New York, c'est un excellent rapport qualité-prix!

“great inside but very limited free parking”

Really good service and top quality room. We got a cityview too - bonus! Very accessible to public transit too. However, the parking that is free is very limited (less than 10 cars) so the rest of the "free" parking is on the street and we ended up walking, with luggage, one and a half blocks. There wasn't even a place to stop in front of the hotel to drop off the other passenger with the luggage unless I double-parked!

“Visiting New York again - this hotel only!”

We stayed for one week in this Sountry Inn & Suites. We enjoyed the view from our room - the Skyline of New York and the Queensborogh-Bridge - fantastic. The room was excellent, the staff very friendly and helpful, the breakfirst-room sometimes a bit crowded. The location was excellent - the subway station Queensborogh Plaza is 5 min to walk, 3 lines took us in less than 10 min. to Manhatten/Central Park, Times Square or Central Station. Only the neighbourhood did not rearlly inspire to stay outside.

“Great Location”

This hotel is in a great location to all the sightseeing attractions. The hotel was clean, warm and they were very accommodating. Everyday the beds were made and towels were changed. Complimentary breakfast was nice. Overall we were very happy with all aspects of the hotel and will definately be going back there.

“Great hotel; really impressed”

This is a wonderful hotel, within a three minute walk to the subway station. The room was clean, comfortable, large, and hardly any noise. The housekeeping was great. The front desk staff were simply wonderful. Breakfast was not great and the dining venue gets crowded easily, but for the price one should not expect silverwares. No other meals were served in the hotel but there is a great choice of take-away meals that will be delivered to your room. Next door gas station has a convenience store, with a very helpful owner. There is a laundrette/dry-cleaning service in the next block--efficient, with same day delivery that costs next to nothing. The neighbourhood is not great and the sub-way station is not top notch, but the neighbourhood is safe. I never felt threatened. I will be staying in this hotel when next I visit NY; definitely.
