“EXTRMELY PLEASED”

We were so pleased with the hotel. It was very nice and clean. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. It was so close to the subway so that made it easy to get in to Manhatten everyday. You can see the suway when you walk out of the hotel. The breakfast in the mornings was good, but make sure you get there early becasue the room gets so packed. They did a great job of refilling food as it depleted. The rooms were nice and clean. The neighborhood was not bad, we felt safe walking to and from the subway everyday and night. The neighborhood was a little dirty, but New York City is not the cleanest city I have ever been to. It is very quiet at night which made it easy to sleep. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and if and when we go back to NYC we will for sure stay there again. We didnt have a car, but if you do good luck parking it! There is only 6 parking spaces and they were always full. I dont think you need a car if you are just doing things around the city. We did the Hop on Hop off bus and that was fantastic. I could go on and on, but definatly a great place to stay!

“Very good hotel”

The hotel is brand new. It is well located; a taxi run from and to central park is around $15,00. The breakfast is very good. There are only 8 parking slots, so it is kinda difficult to get a free slot; there is a paid parking in the next block for $15 per day. All in all, we were very satisfied with the hotel.

“Would definitely recommend but time will tell”

The hotel was great - clean rooms and extremely friendly staff. Location was very convenient to the train/subway (2 blocks) and the neighborhood felt safe. By no means is this a 4 star accomodation, but it was a significant step above "adequate" and yet very cost effective - this is exactly what we were looking for. We learned while there that the hotel actually opened for business the day before we arrived, so we were the first guests to stay in our room and it was naturally in the best condition it will ever be. Time will tell how accurate our review stands, but, for now, it was a great find, and we will plan to stay here for future trips.

“Country Inn and Suites Queens New-York: bon rapport qualité-prix”

hotel situé hors Manhattan mais facile d'accès -desservi par 2 lignes de métro avec stations à moins de 100m. Chambre grande et sympa, lit IMMENSE, sanitaires rien à redire. Seul bémol: le petit-déjeuner et surtout La SALLE des petits-déjeuners: beaucoup trop petite,voire exigue , bruyante et personnel débordé par le nombre de consommateurs.

“Expectations fulfilled”

The hotel itself was clean, the rooms comfortable and the staff helpful, especially during the 'volcano week' when we needed additional information in case our flight was cancelled. The breakfasts were good with plenty of choice and overall I could not fault the hotel. The hotel was close to the subway station, which unfortunately had no escalators or elevator/lift - so unless you are relatively fit and able for at least 4 flights of steep stairs, or ready to use taxis/bus as an alternative, journeys may have a tiring start or finish.

“Très bon rapport qualité/ prix.”

Personnel accueillant et souriant. Nous avons été informé sans restrictions sur les attractions touristiques de la ville de New-York. Les chambres sont nickels et bien confortables surtout la literie!!!. Les SDB sont très propres aussi. Ecran plat LCD, frigo neuf machine à KF neuve. Le chauffage est en très bon état de marche. Un grand espace pour le petit déj et croyez moi c'est rare pour un hotel de ce prix là!!! c'est plus convivial ma foi... il ne manque de rien pour les gros appétits!!! Il est toutefois possible de petit déjeuner dans sa chambre quand il y a trop de monde. Pratique pour ceux qui ont une voiture une station service est à côté et pas trop cher au prix du gallon. Station de métro à côté. Le quartier est vraiment calme. Je recommande cet hotel, idéal pour un séjour classique... mais un peu loin quand même (nous sommes sur long Island City après tout...) Nous y reviendrons...

Subway access to Manhattan via Queensboro and Queens Plaza stations. Easy to get taxis too.

“Best location in New York City!”

Beautiful Hotel. just a quick 5 minute subway ride away from time square but half the price of any hotel in Manhatten. The service was professional and the hotels were very clean. We also forgot to bring toothpaste and other hygiene products but they had everything there for us! The free continental breakfast was great and saved us tons of money during our vacation! A wonderful hotel!
