“Excellent Serice!! Great Affordable for Groups”

I have never written a review like this before, but this hotel was so amazing... I wanted to let everyone know. We brought a group of high school students to New York and needed a place that was affordable, comfortable, had free breakfast, and could get us to and from the airport free and to and from the subway free. They met all of the above and then some. The shuttle service was OUTSTANDING!! When we were almost back from the city on the subway, we'd call and they would be there within a few minutes. When we needed to get to the airport they got our entire group in one trip and got us there on time. The breakfast was excellent and always abundant and the rooms were comfortable and sufficient! I can't speak highly enough about their service. They accidentally charged our card and immidietely looked it up and reversed the charges without hassle. We'll definitely return!!

“Highly Recommended!!!”

this hotel is ideal! i had a view of New York, without the noise, a cramped little room, outrageous price. you're only a 20 minute train ride from Manhatten. their shuttle service was invaluable. room was luxurious and very well appointed. stay here instead of Manhatten and save literally hundreds of dollars!

“Diamond in the rough!”

Although it is in sort of a wherehouse-looking area, and is directly accross from a graveyard, the hotel itself is a true gem. Anytime I am in town, I know where I will be staying. Extremely clean, with modern amenities, and well priced for the area.

“Excellent Value for Money”

Hotel out of NYC probably 15 minutes on the subway, orange line then the purple line the hotel shuttle drops you off at the subway and picks up back up after you ring them, picked up on the corner near the subway station the area can look alittle daunting especially when you have shopping but the most we had to wait was 10 minutes and felt safe. Hotel is immaculate very up to date bathrooms, clean tidy the breakfast was toast, muffins, eggs, cereal, waffles, beagels, juice tea coffee plenty to keep you going until lunchtime and all very nice. Beds very comfortable and rooms very clean hotel staff ok polite and helpful definitely go back again for the value for money - the money saved not staying in NYC we spent in the shops!!! The only downside was not having someone to carry all the shopping after long days in NYC!!!! Watch out for TGI Fridays, Hard Rock, & Planet Hollywood no prices outside only on the menu when you get inside and very expensive for what you actually get!, Try the boiled steak houses steak cooked to your liking while you watch very reasonable and very tasty - also do not leave NYC without having a DELI Sandwich - to die for!!!! Taxi from JFK dont pay more than $45 dont get taken in by leaving a big tip $5 and not a penny more!!!!

“Fine place to stay in Queens”

I was a bit surprised that my room on the 5th floor was actually in the basement. But, the room was clean and quiet, the staff were helpful and friendly, and the free breakfast was quite fine and well stocked. (It was a lot cleaner than a fancier hotel I had just come from in CT!) I slept well and would go back.

“Worth going back to this one”

Having read other reviews of this facility, I arrived with some trepidation. Yes, it is in a slightly industrial area. But, the hotel took us back & forth to the subway station as needed. Yes, it is across the street from a cemetery. But, it is a beautiful old cemetery. The staff was very pleasant & accomadating when we arrived early and gave us a room as soon as possible. We had a great time. Would definitely stay here again. It is convenient to NYC and a lot less expensive than staying in Manhattan.

“Highly reccomended hotel!!”

The comfort inn Maspeth based in New York, Maspeth just 4 miles away from Manhattan was an amazing hotel, our room was very clean and quite spacious, the bathroom, TV and beds were all very nice. The staff were very friendly and the free breakfast was good with a variety of things to eat. It was a very quite hotel suitable for a family or couple. Free shuttle service they provide to the subway station is very convienient. Overall our stay in this hotel was excellent. Would definetly recommend this hotel.

“Nice Hotel”

It's a nice hotel for a Comfort Inn. Although it's located literally across the street from a scary looking cementary the hotel was very clean and well kept. The beds were nice and comfortable and the bathroom was amazingly clean (with marble counter tops). We only stayed there one night and the service was decent. Unlike what you hear about all hotels in NY, this room was a normal size room with two bedrooms, if not a little bigger. Would stay there again!

“Very close to NYC and definitely going back”

Great hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Clean rooms. Okay breakfast(waffles, cereal, muffins). Taxi to Times Square is $30. Train is $2. Beds very comfy!!!

“Good experience”

We used this hotel because hotel prices in Manhattan were so high. It is clean and comfortable, convenient to LGA airport, and only 10 minutes from MYC by our rental car.
