“Great hotel wrong location”

To get off the island you must take a city bus to the ferry and take the ferry across. Hotel on the other side of the island from Manhattan.

Great hotel for the cost, free wifi that was fast, clean rooms, great shower water pressure, would recommend and will stay next time I visit the NYC area

“Would Recommend”

I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Staten Island or visiting New York City. Our hotel room was small, but since we were out all weekend it did the trick. The hotel staff were very nice and the hotel was very clean! The hotel provides a shuttle bus to and from the Staten Island Ferry which is great. My husband and I plan to stay here again!

The rooms are small but clean. The A/C worked well. The breakfast bar is a little meager but satisfactory. The staff were extremely nice. I will not hesitate to book there again.

“Excellent value”

This hotel was clean, well-appointed. It was not expensive, and we were not expecting five-star luxury, but what we got were fairly small rooms with desks, TVs, full bathrooms and large beds. They were spotlessly clean and serviced every day, with more than enough toiletries, towels etc supplied. The included (not free - you have paid for it!) breakfast offered plenty of food and a good selection, including boiled eggs, make you own waffles, tea, coffee, fruit, cereals. It was possible to have a plentiful, tasty and varied breakfast every day. When I had a problem (I put some laundry in but it wasn't cleaned), the receptionist and manager took ownership admirably and put it right. Customer service was at all times efficient and effective. The only thing I could complain about was the noise on the first floor. Rooms are not soundproof, and you can hear every noise from the reception, including the security guard arguing with the receptionist, or people checking in at 5am. If you can, get a room upstairs!

“Pleasant Stay”

One of three brand new hotels on the property, owned by same person/conglomerate. Nice, clean hotel and room. Downsides, room was small. Breakfast ended at 9am. I believe 10am is a fair time to end the breakfast service.
