“SECRET LUXURY FIND”

The front desk was very courteous and polite. Check in was smooth and quick. The room was quite nice, comfortable beds, great view. A very old fashioned feel, which I loved, extremely cozy. I will definitely return to this hotel. The location was ideal, mid town/flatiron area. Easy walking to shops, subways, eateries.

“Excellent service, charming surroundings”

We stayed at The Carlton On Madison during our first trip tp New York. What a great choice! The service was amazing. Any staff we had contact with were helpful and friendly. In particular, our concergie, Topher, went out of his way to meet our needs. The hotel is lovely. Although our room was small it was well appointed and very clean. The location was great for walking. I would stay here again in a "New York Minute."

This was my first time in NY City and could not have had a better location.

Great location, right in the middle of Manhattan. Rooms were small. Concierge was not particularly helpful as none of our questions were answered i.e. What the dress code was for the hotel restaurant, distance from hotel to the Empire State building etc.

I travelled with my sister for a girls weekend and we were extremely pleased with the Carlton hotel on Madison Ave. The staff we great, friendly, pleasant and informative. I would highly recommend anyone travelimg to Mew York City to stay here. it was walking distance to shopping, restaurants and the subway.

I chose this hotel because originally I was going to be spending all of my awake time at a conference and just wanted an inexpensive bed for three nights. I was blown away at how nice the Carleton was - for one of the cheapest hotels I could find in the area. The lobby, restaurant, and room (smallish) were all nicely furnished, clean and comfortable. (The restaurant was overpriced for breakfast, however.) The service I got from the front desk personnel, concierge, and bell hops was all first rate. Nice neighborhood, too. I will definitely stay there again on my next trip.

My first trip to NYC was a success partly due to the location and comfort of the Carlton on Madison Ave. It was so close to the main attractions of Manhatten, everything was walking distance. The room itself, though slightly small, was comfortable and just the right size for me and my companion. The hotel has a very classy feel and the service makes everyone feel like a movie star. Next time I go to NYC, I would love to stay at the Carlton on madison again!
