Pros: The room
Great hotel for NYC. A bit away from all of the commotion of Times Square, but still convenient.

The rooms are very small, but good location, there better hotels than this in New York with similar prices!!!

Didn't like that small bed, too small for two persons, also no coffee pot in the room

Short stayPosted 13-Oct-2014
The hotel is ok. I wished our room was not directly across from the elevators because we didn't sleep well due to loud guests at around 2:30am Saturday. It was not a very nice experience waking up to loud swearing words.

Dear Sheila Thank you for visiting with us. We apologize for the noise issue you mention and the inconsideration of unusually loud guests. As you can imagine we have rooms near the elevators on all floors and this is rearely a complaint we hear about.. We hope to welcome you back in the future. Sincerely Vic Freeman

5 mins walk from stationPosted 15-Sep-2014
Location: Using the subway, you can get to all attractions quickly.
In mid-town, nice neighbourhood. Easy access to train station which is cheap & efficient. We love the tea & coffee room they have for hotel guests. They provide excellent quality tea & coffee there. I wish other hotels would adopt their system. Room is clean, quality towels sheets & toiletries supplies. Had a great 5 nights stay there.

Very well located hotelPosted 8-Sep-2014
Pros: Everything was good about our stay
Location: Madison Square Park, Shake Shack, the Flatiron, Eataly and a real favourite of mine - Hill Country Chicken - are just a couple of blocks away
The location of this hotel means it is a real option to walk everywhere and not have to brave the NY subway or the difficulties of finding a yellow cab at certain times. Everyone from check in staff to the bell hop/bag concierge very friendly and professional.

Good LocationPosted 7-Sep-2014
I didn't care for the manager on duty. She took no responsibility for an issue we had. It was like talking to a wall. Other than that it was good.

Pros: The room was a good size for NYC. Have stayed in hotels before that were quit a bit smaller. Location was good but not great.
Cons: The concierge could be a little more excited about his job. Not the friendly type. Breakfast was OUTRAGEOUS. For 4 people it cost $130.00
Location: Too far of a walk to Time Square You are right next to Korean Way Lounge 230 5th is a walk away
Had a wonderful time in NYC. Though we found the city quit dirty this time, lots of homeless people. Which is very sad. We have been there 5 times in the past and that was one of the things that we took notice of was how clean the city was and we didn't see and homeless people sleeping on the streets. Did the Hop on Hop Off Buses Went to the Brooklyn Tabernacle great experience

Nice hotel a few blocks from Empire State BuildingPosted 5-Sep-2014
Hotel was nice and friendly staff. This hotel is in less busy part of New York. Lovely pizza place 2 blocks down and a few blocks from the 230 rooftop bar which has a great view of New York.
