“Will go back , Amazing for price! Went to see N.Y. and family not gold faucets”
Staff friendly, came with breakfest. Slept thru all but one day. Was a nice layout. Will go back. Did not stay at hotel to make friends or be impressed. Excellent sleep , comfortable room with excellent heat and air. Want fancy stay at Ritz.
“Relaxation in Brooklyn”
Excellent service, price very good for the area and New York by transit is only 2 blocks away and easily accessible, I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in New York all the staff I spoke with were extremely helpful and a pleasure to talk with. The neighbourhood is a good safe one and plenty of shops, restauraunts etc in easy walking distance food prices in the area are approximately half of that in the city so eat locally and save a fortune. The continental breakfast in the hotel was good and the drinks at the bar were very reasonably priced and generously poured. All in all a good place to stay for your vacation.
“Hope to go back!”
Overall it was very pleasant. We also enjoyed the Lebanese, Greek, and Italian food nearby. We would be likely to stay there again if in New York.
“A Brooklyn landmark I would stay at again”
Clean, comfortable, good service, friendlt personnelcan't go wrong
“Great Brooklyn Find!”
The Hotel Gregory is in the Bay Ridge neighborhood of Brooklyn. It is perfect for walking to the train (subway) and to restaurants, shopping and just wandering around. The hotel has modest rooms but is very clean and secure! My son and I needed a cab to get to a doctor's appointment and the front desk not only called for one but gave us the rate quote so we knew what to expect for the fare. The best Greek food ever is at a fabulous restaurant called Evia within walking distance of the hotel. You will feel like you're in Greece. If you have room stop by the creamery for dessert on your way back to the hotel. This hotel is very reasonable by NYC standards and included a breakfast. Coffee in the rooms and fresh pots downstairs are a must for traverlers! Other guests who were sightseeing said that depending on your stops, Little Italy and Chinatown were only 15-20 min away and that Times Square took about 45 min. by subway which is great! We are planning on staying at the Hotel Gregory on our next visit too!
“My choice for next visit...”
The hotel is clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Several good restaurant choices to walk to. Parking could be a problem (expensive if you use valet).
“Nice Hotel and great location”
This was a very nice hotel, the staff was friendly and helpful. There was good shopping and nice restaurants within walking distance. The subway was at the corner and it took us only 15 mins to get to Manhattan. Everytime I go to NYC I will be staying at this hotel.
“Our Brooklyn Wedding”
We as always were met with an extremely warm welcome upon our arrival at the Best Western Gregory Hotel in Brooklyn New York, I have used this hotel several times in the past, on this occasion it was to host our wedding reception in the Madrid lounge, the service was excellent, the catering exceptional and the events co-ordinator extremely friendly and helpful with any and all aspects for our reception. The evening was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended, this was my son's first visit to the big apple and he soon found the surrounding area to have everything needed for an evening out for drinks and eating venues. The transit system station 2 blocks away from the hotel provided quick and convienient access to Manhattan. During the Week days we found that whatever time we attended the continental breakfast the staff member during the week was extremely slow in ensuring sufficient supplies of food stuff was available, on the weekend however the staff members were very good at ensuring adequate stock always available ( different staff on the Weekends). All in all I highly recommend this hotel, aside from the breakfast issue we always enjoy our stay at this hotel
“Will be staying there agin!”
I had last minute changes in my reservation and the hotel front desk was extremely helpful in making sure I got things straightened out. The room was a little small but not claustrophobic. The internet was extremely fast and easy to access. The hotel bar/lounge was ok but couldn't hold a candle to the myriad of bars, clubs, and pubs in Bay Ridge. The hotel is a block away from the R train which was my primary mode of transportation. Be warned parking in Bay Ridge is rough. its not unheard of for it taking twenty minutes to find a parking spot and have that spot be several blocks away. Whenever I come to New York I intend to stay at this hotel.
“We would stay again!”
Barbara and Kim who worked the front desk were excellent. They were able to give us directions and went out of their way to make sure that we had everything that we needed.
