Recreation
Central Park, 1.5 miles north of Affinia Manhattan, offers a variety of recreational opportunities, including ball fields, tennis courts, rowboat rentals, horseback riding, and miles of trails for hiking, biking, running, and in-line skating. Rockefeller Center's skating rink, 1 mile away, opens in winter, as does Central Park's Wollman Rink. A golf driving range is located at Chelsea Piers 1 mile west of the hotel. Neighborhood athletic clubs offer racquet sports, exercise classes, and swimming pools.

“Wonderful Hotel...Great Staff,... Good Location”
My wife and I could not have been more pleased with the Affinia Manhattan. Very nice and helpful staff. Clean facilities. I hear they are going to remodel next year, but quite frankly it doesn't realy need it.
“Excellent Hotel”
This was my first time in NY and was not very sure of anything including the hotel. The hotel was fabulous, I had my 3 grand children with us and the room was a 1 bedroom with a sleeper sofa, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. Well worth the cose of the room. Great location, service and room. Will go back.
“Great NYC Hotel”
I've stayed at several NYC hotels and this was great. The staff were very professional and courteous. The room was very comfortable and had a kitchen and living room area. 2 bathrooms - clean but small. Will definitely stay there again.
“My New York 1st Choice”
Third time I've stayed at this hotel. The location is perfect for my needs. A short 20 minute walk to Broadway theaters in one direction, 20 minute walk to the trendy Chelsea dining areas in the other plus a block from a subway station. The one bedroom suite is like an apartment and one bigger than most in New York.
“Great hotel”
We enjoyed the large room with kitchen facilities and dining table. It felt like we had our own NY apartment to ourselves. The bed was large and comfortable. Fantastic location! Good value for money in the context of how expensive NY hotels are. Excellent hotel service. Clean and elegant. The only problem we had was accessing the TV internet. It kept signing out every few minutes and was very difficult to navigate the pages without a proper screen, mouse and keyboard setup. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the hotel!
“A great place to stay”
I was most impressed with the friendly staff. They did their best to make sure your stay was a good one. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel is in a great location, close to shopping, restaurants, everything. I'll definitely come back.
“Good location across from Penn Station”
I found the location was perfect for using the commuter rail and subway because the hotel is diagonally across the street from Penn Station. The rooms are simple but fine for business travel. The lack of free broadband internet was somewhat of an inconvenience. For fast and simple dining, Penn Station was adequate. Nice value for money.
“Amazing Hotel”
It was my first trip to New York City and I was so impressed with Affinia Manhattan. I would definitately go there again in a heartbeat...The staff was amazing, the rooms were awesome and the whole experience there was a real treat....If anyone stays anywhere else, they are at the wrong hotel!!!!!!
“Fantastic in every way!”
We stayed at the Affinia Manhattan for 6 nights and were very impressed. The location is central. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant. The room was large with 4 windows and a great view. The kitchenette came in handy for leftovers and refreshments. We would definitely return to this hotel and would recommend it to others.
“What a stunning hotel”
I took my mother with me to New York and we both adored this hotel which was beyond our expectation. From the ornate elevators in the spacious lobby, the stunning, elegant room with decadent furniture to the very friendly staff made the experience so much more enjoyable. I will stay here again and have recommended this hotel to friends and family.
