“EXCELLENT CHOICE!!!”

My daugher and I went to New York City for the first time and were clueless about where to stay. After reading the reviews on Expedia and TripAdvisor, I booked our stay at Affinia Dumont. It proved to be an EXCELLENT CHOICE for us. When we arrived in our room, we had a single queen bed. I called the desk to ask if we could have 2 double beds. WOW! Not only did we get double beds, but our room had a kitchenette and was luxurious. Beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. The staff and concierge were all extremely helpful at all times. The location of this hotel is excellent. Definitely recommend.

“Totally Impressed and more importantly Very Satisified”

It was my husband and I's first visit to New York, and the Affinia Dumont made it all the better. I originally saw this hotel in my sister in law's time share binder and thought it looked quite nice. I did my research on reviews and the Affinia Dumont by far....was rated 10-1 over other travellers experience. Great location within walking distance to time square, empire state, 5th avenue shopping...we were so impressed. We picked the weekend of July 23-26 and the weather cooperated as well. Just rained one afternoon into the evening and we got pretty wet, but we figured a little rain won't kill anyone, and we walked so much during the day, that we could use the TV/Rest break. We were upgraded to a King Bed on the 29th Floor, lovely view on either side of the hotel. Lovely kitchen. Groceries are expensive at the local store. Better of eating out, but it helps to have the convenience of a fridge etc. Iris at the front desk was exceptional....all the staff, everytime we return throughout the day, we were always greated with a smile. I will be sure to spread the work on how Affinia Dumont is the place to stay. My husband would like to return with our teenage children next year! Price was right for the entire package. This was our first time using Expedia.ca and we will be planning future vacations this way.

“Wonderful first NY trip for married twenty-somethings!”

My husband and I decided to take a week-long trip to NY before we have kids. (We are in our late twenties). We chose the Affinia Dumont based on other reviews and we liked that the room was going to be spacious. We had read that a lot of other hotel rooms are tiny. When we arrived at the airport, we paid for a shuttle van to the hotel which was easy and inexpensive. We walked into the Affinia and liked it from the beginning. It has a modern, updated feel; our room was spacious and had a small kitchenette. We ended up buying a few groceries at one of the delis down the street to help save money on food. The first night, we decided to go and take in an evening view from the Empire State Building. It was only 3 blocks away and we didn't realize how close we would be! The subway was just a couple blocks down, so it was easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. If you need help, just ask the concierge--they are great! If we come to NY again, we would love to stay at the Affinia. We both had a wonderful stay and enjoyed NYC.

Très beau studio, très bien équipé. L'hôtel est idéalement situé à deux pas de l'Empire State Building, des lignes de métro 4, 5 et 6. Egalement des restaurants sympas (quoiqu'un peu chers) à proximité. La kitchenette permet de préparer ou réchauffer des repas (au lieu d'aller au restaurant), ce qui à NYC peut représenter une économie substancielle! Excellent rapport qualité prix, à condition de réserver tôt pour bénéficier de remises importantes. Un hôtel à recommander.

Acceuil sympa,chaleureux,cocktail de convivialité 1 fois dans la semaine organisé par la direction.La formule "studio et service hotelier"est très bien pour les courts séjours pour lesqels le décalage horaire se fait sentir tout au long du séjour.Idéalement situé : à 2 pas de l'Empire , très central, et vue magnifique sur la ville

nice residential setting with easy walk to mid town, east side. dozens of dining choices within 2 blocks. 2 blocks to subway. short cab ride to anywhere in Manhattan. friendly staff. parking right across street. will stay there again.
