“Trip to NYC”
We booked our trip to NYC and needed a reasonably priced hotel near the big Apple. The staff was great, made sure we had everything agreed to and helped us find a good tour service to see all the sites. We went to the statue of liberty, Elliis Island, 5th ave, St Patricks, United Nations, Ground Zero, Empire State Bldg, and many more great attractions. The very Reasonably priced tour included a 12 hour tour guide, tickets to the top of the empire state bldg, and ferry to Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty. Parking was ok at check in, but was a challenge with the number of people coming for the business center conventions, so plan on getting a spot and keeping it while using the subway, a 10 minute walk away. Also, breakfast was very good, lots of good choices. Overall, we did not see anything that would keep us from coming back to this well run hotel. Thanks!!
“Been there 4 times already”
Everything was great but I wish there was a variety in the breakfasts. Closeness to La Marbella restaurant was convienent during bad weather.
“Great Hotel in Bayside New York”
What a wonderful; surprise...free parking, extremely clean and neat great location...safe area...breakfast buffet..comp N.Y. Post...Wasn,t sure what my son booked for me... I was in heaven. I felt very safe and secure.. Our room had a large fridge.....Very Asian feel..
“Would Recommend”
My friends and I stayed at this hotel on our first vist to NY, we were very inpressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and the room had been recently refurbished. The colours were warm and neutral, the staff were friendly and helpful-even offering to get us something 2 eat from the takeway on our first night as therestaurant was closed. we had breakfast included and if there was not something on offer if we came down to late it was prepared for us, this was alovely hotel for our first stay and Iwould go back there. I went to Ny for a shopping trip, although the hotel is not located in the city of manhatten it is in anoce location and it has good public transport near by
“This was a great location for us - we attended a wedding not too far away.”
The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was worth getting up - good.
“Very Impressed”
I was very impressed with this hotel. Location was great, easy access to all. Very clean. No bed bugs!!! Staff very nice (Henry and Evelyn, thank you). Breakfast was pretty good. Parking a plus. Only draw back: room small for my husband, my son and I. I should have reserved the double bed toom ( I had a queen bed). I will definitely return to this hotel.
“Good Value”
This hotel is nothing fancy, but its clean and I felt safe. The staff are great - friendly and very accomodating. There is plenty of parking and a great free breakfast buffet and 24/7 coffee/tea/hot choc. Not the place for your honeymoon, but great for a fun vacation or a business trip. I felt so welcome the minute I walked in the front door.
“Perfect Place”
would recommend if you want to stay in queens. 22 minute train ride into manhattan.
“Good hotel to work from”
I am here for work. This is the 3rd time I have stayed here. The rooms are clean. Parking is free and safe. The lobby is on the bottom fl. parking on the 2nd and is walled. Rooms are above. Breakfast is better than expected. They normally have some kind of meat, w/pancakes or French toast, scrambled eggs, and hash browns. Lots of restruants within a $7.00 taxi ride or walking. LIRR same. They host many assemblies in their convention rooms, so parking can be crowded at times The Spanish restaurant (not Mexican) in their sister hotel is very good and I have never been disappointed with the bar.
“Very Nice”
Lovely hotel with charm and extra care. The manager was such a gentleman, could not have been nicer or more concerned about the guests. This obviously rubs off on the staff as I discovered when seeking a late night cup of decaf tea. The front desk was quick to fetch it for me. It was a very pleasant experience, considering the reason I was there was due to a mandatory evacuation of my neighborhood thanks to hurricane Irene!
