“Very impressed - quality of service, free parking, and minutes from downtown New Orleans!”
This hotel was a great experience. Beautifully maintained; quiet, quality food, and great room accommodations. A real plus was free parking - and it was only a 20 min drive over to the French Quarter. I'd certainly recommend a stay here!
“Great Place to Stay Outside of New Orleans”
We were a little worried on our way to check in to this hotel, but as soon as we got there, it was well above our expectations. The lobby was nice and clean as was the bar and restaurant. Our room was very nice as well, about the only thing that was a dissappointment was that room service stopps at 11:00pm and does not start again till 6:00am. Overall great place and would go back!
“Can't beat this hotel in Metairie-New Orleans”
Sheraton Metairie-New Orleans Hotel combines high quality, great space and super location with outstanding price. It is better than 95% of downtown NOLa hotel properties. Can't ask for more from a hotel while traveling.
“PEOPLE WITH NO CONCITERAION FOR OTHERS !!!”
CONCITERAION OTHER GESTS AT THE HOTEL WERE VERY RUDE AND REALY NOSIE, AND TALKING VERY LOUD IN THE HALLS AT 12 AM!!!!
“Great place to stay.”
From the moment I walked in the door the service was excellent. Very clean, quiet and in a great location.
“Sherton should be proud of this location”
The hotel was very clean. the staff was very helpful and Professional at all times. The parking was convinent and had good lighting. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. THe hotel was very quite at all times
“Great Place and Not Too Far from the Nightlife”
When we arrived, the staff greeted us promptly and everyone was very friendly. The food/room service was great, but was expensive. The only semi- negative thing I would say is that it may be confusing to get to the hotel (and anywhere else in N.O.) because everything is a big circle, but once you get the hang of it, it'll be easy. -Also, it's a HUGE mall right over the bridge that crosses I-10 (Lakeside Mall I think); VERY close and also awesome Cajun food. Veterans Blvd will have almost everything you need (including Cafe Du Monde). The French Qtr is not a far drive either! To sum up, stay there, especially if you don't want to be in the hustle and bustle of things!
“Great place to stay!”
After reading some of the other reviews, I was skeptical. Once I got to the hotel, I was impressed. This was a nice clean hotel. Service was friendly. Rooms were well kept and clean, very comfortable. The restaurant had great food. The bar was excellent, especially with their happy hour. The kids enjoyed the use of computers with internet access. Plus, great price. The only negative is that the hotel can be a little hard to get to. Overall, great place to stay. Will definitely stay here again in the future.
“Convenient, comfortable and clean”
This was a family visit to our hometown of New Orleans, so we know the area quite well. Most important was the convenience to the Interstate, I-10. Whole Foods Market is just minutes away which is where we shopped for our daily snacks, lunch and fresh fruit. Close by, you have your pick of shopping centers, stores, restaurants (favorite Chinese cuisine is at Cafe East @ 4628 Rye St. in Metairie). Next visit, we'll be sure to stay there again. Oh...and did I mention....the beds are incredibly comfortable!
“Friendly, clean, safe, pet friendly, decent price.”
Friendly, clean, safe, pet friendly, decent price. Super easy, everything is already paid for through Expedia so check in and check out are quick and simple. We have three small dogs and this is the only hotel in the area that accepts pets. Lots of large grassy areas for them to run. That being said, the hotel and grounds were immaculately clean from top to bottom. We also had a moving truck with us - no one messed with it and it was safe all night. We were able to rest easy after our long drive. They just need complimentary hot water for morning tea because not everyone drinks coffee. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Metairie, Louisiana, United States of America: Although the well-kept homes suggest that all is prim and proper, affluent Metairie has a wild side. Along with its drive-through daiquiri stands, Metairies Fat City rivals Bourbon Streets bars and clubs. One of its main attractions, however, offers solitude and peace. Just outside the city limits, the Metairie Cemeterys graceful marble tombs and statues make it one of worlds great cemeteries.
