Nice and clean 3-star hotel

Posted 14-Apr-2014
Pros: Cleanliness Proximity to all the attractions
Cons: Some staff members' attitude
Location: Harrah's Casino French Quarter Emeril's Restaurant
Had a very pleasant stay. Good hot breakfast buffet, clean room with a lot of space, surrounded by great restaurants, and close to the French Quarter. My only issue was with a staff member who was being obnoxious and not helpful on any request. Luckily, the other staff members were much better and accommodating. Highly recommended.

Disappointed with stay

Posted 12-Apr-2014
Pros: The location was close to the French Quarter and where I worked. There are many restaurants and shopping within walking distance.
Cons: The food.
Location: There are many restaurants from fast food to high-end restaurants within walking distance. The casino and shopping are close and so is the trolley.
I reserved a King size studio and when I arrived I was given a handicap accessible room with a queen bed. On check-in I asked to be in a room away from the busy street and did get a room on the courtyard area, but was told they didn't have another room to give me. I went to the room and my key would not open the door, so I went back to the desk to get them activated. I did not ask for another room once I opened the door and found it was not what I reserved. The food served was ok, but the fruit and veggies looked like they were overripe and slightly discolored. The breakfast area was nice.

Nola getaway

Posted 31-Mar-2014
Pros: Breakfast and social buffets. Bed was very comfortable. Room size and kitchen area
Cons: Cleaning. They only offer lite cleaning during week. On one day we did not even receive this service.
Location: Location awesome. Casino, French quarters, World War Two museum, high end restaurant, few other eateries and shops all walking distance
Hotel is located perfectly walking distance to the action of French quarters and World War Two museum. It is also close to casino, awesome restaurants such as legendary Mothers right across street. Breakfast buffet was always filled with delicious options which were sure to get you onto a great start. Their "social" which is available Tuesday, Wed and Thurs is amazing. It consist of a buffet of scrumptious options for lite dinner fare such as one nite burgers, hot fogs, salad, free beer and wine and a sweet ending with warm chocolate cookies. This is especially great for a big group or family. Not only do you say money but also time in getting a group to agree where to go.

Business trip wrong time of year

Bad time to plan a business trip. Streets blocked traffic and the noise outside. Had to pay for parking at the hotel and was a registered guest. What a rip.

New Orleons weekend

Posted 3-Feb-2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Several things I mentioned above.
Location: Did not stay long enough to do anything was visiting a family member for personal reasons
I was disappointed in the staybridge suites. #1 No parking no way to pull in to unload your luggage. When I arrived I called to ask where to park they stated their garage was full????? Stated we could park across the street, in public parking, 30 dollars a day!!!! So that means you have to wag all your belongings across the street at night, when you have driven 9 hours.#2 No where to eat in the hotel no restaurant in the hotel, only breakfast server your self in the AM. Once again hungry and thirsty driving 9 hours then you find out no room service or anything like that.#3 We were given keys to a room that was occupied, we opened the door and there was someone inside, not very safe!!!! #4 It had an odor not sure how to explain it but it was not good.Overall not satisfied with this place would never recommend this place to anyone, and would never stay there again. That is all.

Breakfast was a disappointment, cold eggs, staff slow to refill things, didn't go for half of our stay because of this. also staff didn't replace towels etc or empty rubbish through the week. front desk staff were good.
