Smells like orange blossoms when you walk into the lobby. Friendly, professional staff. complimentary food, beer, wine and breakfast. Laundry is free too. Treadmill wasn't working in gym. Would be nice to have lock box in the room. Would definitely stay there again in the future. It's in an excellent location.

Nice hotel, walking distance to the French Quarter

Posted 9-Mar-2015
Pros: Good location and friendly staff
Cons: Wifi service
Location: French Quarter, Harraah's Casino, steamboat river tour, Riverwalk outlet mall, pubs and restaurants.
Nice hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable. A little disappointed in the wifi service, it didn't work well in our room on the 12th floor but did work ok down in the lobby area. It didn't cost extra so can't complain too much. We were able to walk to the French Quarter, Harrah's Casino and the Riverwalk Outlet Mall from the hotel. There is also a cable/streetcar stop nearby as well as stops for a hop on hop off bus tour. Overall we were very happy with The Staybridge Suites and would definitely stay there again.

Good location, Nice staff. Clean and comfortable.

For the price this is a great hotel. The room was a nice size and was quiet except for the occasional door closing we heard nothing. Close (within walking distance) to everything we wanted to see. We got off our plane at 9 and check in time is 4 but they had us in by noon. We would book here again.

Convenient and clean in NOLA

Posted 1-Mar-2015
I have stayed at this hotel 4x now on my trips to NOLA. we stay for 5 to 14 days. the very best thing about this hotel is the staff. Especially Monique. the next best thing is its location. One block from the French Quarter but quiet and calm when you desire it.

Excellent stay

Posted 23-Feb-2015
Pros: It was so quiet.
Cons: Air conditioning temperature was difficult to adjust but this is a very minor quibble
Close to everything (including the end of parade routes and not to far to the French quarter) and very, very quiet. Great rooms, good facilities (especially the free laundry and WIFI) and nice breakfast. Definitely would stay there again.

Come for everything but the gym

Posted 22-Feb-2015
Pros: Food and amenities
Cons: Gym
Location: Everything you need downtown
Good location, very pleasant staff, and the extended stay kitchenette set-up is quite convenient. Breakfast was good and a pleasant surprise that they have social hours with food on TWTh nights. All that said, the "gym" is really just a converted room with 1 treadmill, 1 elliptical, a bike, and one of those multipurpose weight machines. If you're looking for a proper workout, consider elsewhere. If not, it's a great choice.
