A friend from college decided to plan a girls weekend in New Orleans for her Birthday. I only needed a room for one night and the Sheraton exceeded my expectations! The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are clean and well maintained, and the service was outstanding! The valet parking is a bit pricey, but well worth the money for a secure location. The hotel is less than 3 blocks from Bourbon St, and the Palace Cafe is across the street which is an excellent brunch destination! I have stayed in many hotels in New Orleans and this hotel is definitely in my top three! I would highly recommend staying at the Sheraton on Canal St. in New Orleans!

Room was clean and cold. I got a late checkout of 2pm. Very Helpful. Restaurant staff was pleasant. You get a $5 food discount card for not having your room made up and towels changed each day. I do that anyways. I traded my three $5 cards for a chicken sandwich w/ sweet potato fries to go. Cost was FREE to me! It's my third stay. Close to food and a super Walmart. I'll be back 3 or 4 more times before my daughter graduates.

Even though the hotel was undergoing some rebuilding work while I was there, it didn't detract from the pleasure of staying here. Great staff, fine rooms, lovely pool and gym area that catches the sun all day and above all, perfect location in the middle of all the key areas in the city. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, fab!
