Pros: Convenience to all of the attractions of the city, everything within walking distance.
Cons: Parking, would be nice to be able to self-park as opposed to valet.
Had a wonderful experience, the city of New Orleans and its people are WONDERFUL!

Amazing room

Posted 19-Jul-2014
Pros: architecture, cleanliness
Cons: parking directions on website
Location: pretty much on Bourbon st one block from Canal st can walk or short taxi to everything in French Quarter
Can valet park for $34 or self park in parking garage for $22 for 18 hours. Elevator brings you down to mall floor then a short walk across hall to Hampton Inn desk, never outdoors, very convenient..Room was amazing, clean and pristine, very roomy. Had to rent roll away bed for child #3 for $15 still had plenty of room to walk around. Stayed in places twice as expensive but half as nice as this..When returning to NOLA would stay here again.

Block and a half from Bourbon St and close to riverfront. We had a wonderful time. Casino was close also. Hotel and staff were excellent.

Visit to New Orleans

Posted 5-Jul-2014
Pros: Nice, clean, large, quiet rooms.
Cons: I purchased the Taste of New Orleans package and front desk at first was not informed as to what that was. Soon they called to give more information.
Location: Two blocks to Bourbon Street and street cars. Very convenient.
We would definitely stay here again. This is a nice hotel in a quiet section of New Orleans, but two blocks from the action.

I'd give it a 10, but....

Great hotel. 2 blocks from Bourbon Street. Groceries, eateries within a block or so. Breakfasts were awesome. My only gripe is.... A big room with 2 queen beds. 1 stinking chair ????? Plenty of room to add a couch. I dont like watching tv from the bed.Oh and parking is 30.00 a day.

Good hotel, great location, reasonable price

Posted 13-Jun-2014
Pros: Staff, location, room
Cons: Not much of a view from the room.
Location: Many fine restaurants and clubs within walking distance. Street car goes by the front door and goes to shopping and historic districts.
Older building has been completely redone. Room was spacious and pleasant; bed was very comfortable. The real plusses here are the location - two blocks from the French Quarter in one direction, and walking distance to museums and restaurants in the other - and the staff. The front desk staff was extremely helpful in suggesting restaurants and activities, and in booking tours and transportation. Cleaning, kitchen, and valet staff were all very friendly and professional. Made for a very enjoyable stay in New Orleans.
