C'EST BON! ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!

Posted 23-Oct-2014
Pros: Everything
Location: close to everything.
Our first visit to the Big Easy, and after the experience it was only the first of many we intend to make. Wow! Loved every second here, and this hotel was absolutely fantastic. It is situated in a great location, close to everything. We used the street cars which the St. Charles line stops right at the hotel, and Bourbon Street is one block away. Hotel is close to everything, yet away enough to be quiet and restful. Room was very clean, beds incredibly comfortable. The breakfast which is included was really wonderful! Several choices from cheese omelets to fresh fruit and oatmeal in addition to the standard fare offered by others. Staff was so informative and helpful, we will stay here every time we return to Nawlins!

Very excellent. Good room, good staff, good location. I enjoyed both French Quarter and Business District by walking from this hotel.

nola leisure trip

Posted 18-Oct-2014
Pros: location, cleanliness!, comfort, affordability
Cons: please offer real eggs, real bacon, and pork sausage on the breakfast menu.
Location: bourbon street (3 blocks away) french quarter (less than a mile) river walk, casino; streetcar to take you to city park, or audobon.
absolutely loved our stay here! i am really snobby about hotel bed comfort because i hate sleeping anywhere but my own bed - but this by far is in my top 3. also, the bedding was pristine white - not dingy, and did not look worn or faded in any way. the room was clean. no water smells (like mold or mildew) CLEAN. we were on the 5th floor - it was nice and quiet. we were not disturbed by anything. breakfast - hot breakfast choices - i am not a fan of fake eggs or bacon, and i don't think turkey should be made into breakfast sausage - this would be my only "negative" however i did not go hungry, and the dining room was incredibly spacious and clean so this is not a complaint, more of a wish - real eggs, and real bacon and real sausage next time please. location is perfect since you walk out and can catch the st. charles streetcar, or walk 2 blocks to canal to catch another streetcar to the cemetaries, city park, or uptown. cross the street at canal and you're on bourbon street. we walked everywhere this trip, and if we weren't walking we were taking a streetcar or a bus. we will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Nice hotel close to the french quarter

Hotel was clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. Each night came with hot breakfast. We used self parking in Capital One lot directly behind the hotel. $22 a night vs 38sending for vallet. We never used car while there. Walk, shuttle, and trolley is all we needed. Will stay again.
