“I really enjoyed my stay and I plan to stay there my next visit.”
One Of the nicest.
“Excellent Staff”
During our stay in November 2004, we were most impressed with the friendly and courteous staff that greeted us each time we came through the lobby and reception area. We had a great visit and would definately go back again!

Located in a quiet neighborhood, close to the main attractions.

This Fairfield Inn had nice rooms. the continental breakfast was more lavish than most. I love the location at Williams & 32nd Street as very easy access to I-10 and the French Quarter in 15 minutes. This is much smarter than staying near the French Quarter and worrying about parking and crime. Covered hotel parking for a 5 days in the French Quarter can cost $175 so beware! I have stayed at this Fairfield Inn over five times in the last 8 years, and their quality is consistent. In fact, it used to be a Courtyard by Marriot, and they just changed the sign on the outside.

Good looking building, nice room, friendly & responsive staff, good food in restaurant, very short walk to city bus stop (15-minutes to downtown - 1,80-euro, exact change), free service to/from airport, overall good value.

this staff was not very helpful, when I did get one that spoke english, I felt like I was bothersome. The hotel is about 300 feet from the landing strip of the airport, planes fly right over head, so if you plan on sleeping during the day, think again.

“Fairfield at New Orleans Airport, Kenner, LA”
Everything was adequate, but the building was showing its age and rough around the edges. Probably a fair value for the price, but nothing about it really was above average or different enough to make me want to come back.
“Desultory”
We were unimpressed by the hotel staff and their seeming lack of interest in customers. There were a few exceptions; the lady who ran the breakfast area was very pleasant and charming, and went out of her way to be friendly and helpful, but she was really the only member of the hotel staff who did. Being there over Thanksgiving was probably not a plus-- staff were taking time off, which is fine, but even after they came back, things were slow and unimpressive.
