Great all-round stay

Posted 24-Feb-2015
Pros: Food service, customer service, comfort and cleanliness of rooms.
Excellent location in terms of getting to key sights and in a safe part of town (I was a lone woman traveller). The breakfast and kick-back free drinks and dinner were really good quality plus access to coffee and soda all day was a plus. Room was comfy and spacious with good desk space for working and a relaxing bed. The pool and the hot tub were nice.

Had a blast!

My sister and I went for Mardi Gras. The room was much more than expected and the staff was great. We were in a central area where we could walk to any tourist destination including the french quarter and the river walk. I will definitely be back!

Wonderful stay in the French Quarter

Despite the fact that our check-in upon arrival was a bit delayed, the rest of the stay went very well. We were not as comfortable with the first room we were booked in, but with a simple request for a change, we were in another room without hesitation. The location of the hotel also provided good access to many of the nearby places of interest (stores and restaurants) - many within walking distance. Overall, it was a lovely stay in New Orleans.

My Mardi Gras stay 2015

Posted 18-Feb-2015
Pros: I didn't like that there was not a full restaurant and bar. The happy hours and free food was fine but only open at specific times & selections
Location: It's 2 blocks from the trolly and Mardi Gras parade route and walking distance from Bourbon Street. It's easy to get almost anywhere without a cab
My hotel stay during the Mardi Gras was quite pleasing. We were 2 blocks from the parade route and walking distance from Bourbon Street. The room was huge and comfortable. I really appreciated that they cleaned the room and gave us clean towels every day. So many of the hotels don’t want to do that anymore. Every morning was a free buffet style breakfast with a descent selection of foods to choose from. Also had free drinks and food from 5:30 to 7:00 every evening. I would recommend this hotel for a great Mardi Gras experience.

Great location, clean and spacious

This hotel is great! Very spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed the breakfast and really liked the happy hour. Also, they offer 3 Free drinks and appetizers which is great as well. The location is fanstatic, we walked to Bourbon and were a block away from the parades!

Great service as always

Posted 15-Feb-2015
Pros: Very friendly staff. Complimentary drinks and snacks in the evening.
Cons: Valet was $25 per day. My company paid for it so I did not care. I would suggest self parking at a reduced rate.
This is a large hotel within walking distance to many nice restaurants. When you make your reservation, make sure you ask about the room location within the hotel. My room was on the second floor facing the street and there was a lot of traffic noise. They moved me the second night to another room away from the street but it had a view of a brick wall. I didn't mind since I was there on business. If you want a view, you better ask. Rooms are nice but on the small side.
