Excellent accommodations, close to everythingPosted 20-Oct-2014
Pros: The breakfast was good and we went down twice and had the kickstart, the selection of food was great and the free drinks even better.
Location: We literally walked everywhere from the hotel, bourbon street, French quarter, super dome, St. Louis cemetary.
Our room had been recently updated. I loved the size of the room, it had a living room area and separate bedroom.

Louisiana - Part IIPosted 17-Oct-2014
Pros: The cleanliness, the amenities, the location - - just about everything
Cons: Nothing, our stay was perfect. We couldn't have asked for a nicer experience
Location: Hobknobbers, Mother's, Trolley - you can go all over the place, French Quarter, Waterfront, Finnegan's Pub, all located within walking distance.
We drove in from the Angola Prison, and hit a rain storm this California Girl could not believe. With my Washington State bff by my side telling me I was doing great as the vehicle hydroplaned, all I could think about was a strong drink upon arrival! Well upon arrival we were met by wonderful staff, three free drink (per night) coupons and a free dinner & breakfast buffet! The room was delightful and we had a great view of the bridge at the waterfront. We chatted with many guests who all agreed with us. This hotel is on the trolley line, within walking distance to Bourbon Street, but don't head straight to the French Quarter - - Check out Hobknobbers for a drink made by Dustin (he is a drink "chef" - bloody mary's were to die for), and Mother's for authentic creole cuisine.

Very nice hotelPosted 6-Oct-2014
Very nice hotel. Stayed 4 nights, for a conference at convention center. Staff was very friendly, hotel was very clean. Remodel work was ongoing during our stay but except for some expected noise there were no issues. Would recommend!!

Glad we chosePosted 27-Sep-2014
Pros: Location, room, staff, amenities
Cons: Choice of self-parking
Location: Less than mile walk to Bourbon St. A little or mile to French Quarter as well as Casino and riverfront area.
Booked not knowing where it was in relation to things we wanted to see. Location was great. Once we parked we walked! Less than a mile from Bourbon Street and probably a good 30 minute walked to the French Market and French Quarter. Staff was especially helpful in getting us to hotel when we got turned around driving in. Only negative for us was the "mandatory" valet parking -- had you between a rock and hard place with finding public parking. Happy hour was great -- talked to several nice people. Breakfast was also nice. Great to still have businesses that provide these amenities for those who would prefer to pay a little more but definitely get moneys worth or more! Rooftop pool area was a good place to relax.

Large room just outside the French QuarterPosted 31-Aug-2014
Pros: Suites. Free breakfast. Free afternoon snacks with drinks
Cons: Add a small frig to rooms
Location: 6 blocks from French Quarter
My son and I stayed here during a weekend stay in NOLA. The suite worked beautifully for us, since his sleep and awake times were different than mine, and we could each have our own space when the other was sleeping. The price was acceptable for the area, which was just a short 6 block walk from the French Quarter. Nice little touches such as free breakfast, and afternoon snacks with free drinks made for a pleasant stay. The front desk was helpful with arranging taxis and storing our bags when needed. Will stay here again. TIP...avoid Court of Two Sisters brunch. Not what it used to be and NO AIR CONDITIONING.

Pros: The hotel staff was very helpful. And they provided breakfast and a some type of dinner.
Cons: They need to update their rooms, and get rid of the valet parking fees.
Location: Many things was within walking distance, casino, bourbon street, shopping, and restaurant.
The room we stayed was outdated but overall comfortable.

Nice hotel, we will look for Drury Inn again!Posted 20-Aug-2014
This hotel is within walking distance of the French Quarter, Jackson Square, the WW2 Museum and the Riverfront Shops. Very clean with nice friendly staff. We enjoyed the pool, the breakfasts,5 o'clock kickbacks and the free wi-fi service. We would recommend this hotel when visiting New Orleans and we will look for them in other cities.

This hotel checked all the boxes for what you would expect in a stay. The facility was quite, clean and comfortable. The included drinks and snacks were appreciated. The staff was very friendly. The valet was very efficient. I would stay here again anytime.
