“Great!”

It was a great hotel. Very clean. Beautiful. Convenient. On-site parking. The free hot breakfast was good. I have already recommended the hotel to friends and co-workers.

“Hidden gem”

This was our first trip to New Orleans and we really didn't know anything about the layout of the city so we were relying on recommendations from friends and online reviews. Everything I read about the Drury Inn seemed to be very positive so we thought we would give it a try. We were not disappointed. The location was perfect. We were only a short walk from Bourbon St and parade routes, yet far enough away from party noise. Our room was very spacious and very clean. The happy hour was just OK, but a nice conveinence. I really liked the free computers in the lobby since I did not bring a laptop. But if you do there is free WIFI and data ports in each room. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

“A Wonderful Experience!”

The hotel staff were all very friendly and I was quite impressed by just how nice the room was (nice size, big windows, desk, and complimentary high speed internet). It was also relatively quiet, and the room was kept clean for all 5 nights I stayed. The free breakfast was a nice added bonus. I would definitely recommend staying here. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to the convention center and about a 5-10 minute walk to the French Quarter.

“Great hotel, definitely will return”

I really enjoyed my stat at the Drury Inn. I loved the happy hour from 5:30-7 with free food and drinks. The genearal manager was there greeting everyone and making sure all of the guests felt welcome. The location was great, it was only a 5-10 minute walk from Bourbon St. and the French Quarter. The beds were comfotable and the room was clean. I will definitely stay here again when I visit New Orleans.

“Drury Inn Excellent Hotel”

OK this is the 9th consecutive year for me going down to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. This is to date the best hotel i've stayed at during my stay. Check-in was smooth. We got to the hotel a little early but the hotel staff was gracious enough to watch our bags until the room was ready. The room itself was very clean and a very comfortable bed. They serve a delicious breakfast daily. I had my son with me and I felt very secure during my stay at the hotel during Mardi Gras. They have a police officer standing guard 24 hours a day as do every hotel during the MArdi Gras holiday. The area around the hotel is safe to walk around. There is no question that I would stay at this property again and I strongly recommend this property to everyone. You won't be disappointed. The media is totally sensationalizing all the negative stuff happening in New Orleans.

“If I use the train into New Orleans, I will stay at this hotel...”

The location from the Amtrak train station (our travel into N.O.) along with the 'hot' breakfast and light dinner which are included in the room rate, really sealed the deal for us. The accommodation were excellent along with the friendly staff made our stay away from home almost like home.

“A Hotel Group Worth Checking Out”

When I look for hotels I look for value and convenience. I'm not particularly worried about 5 stars. I'm more interested in being able to get around easily (we rely on public transport a lot of the time), free internet so I can research and organise things while we are away and in room facilities. The Drury group of hotels advertise that unlike many hotels everything is free, and they mean it. Not only do you get a decent cooked breakfast, but the late afternoon included food is good enough to substitute for an evening meal. Not only do you get food (baked potatoes, chilli, chicken etc) but 3 alcoholic drinks included! This particular hotel is close to a streetcar line, reasonably close to the Amtrak station and the staff are helpful without resorting to the over the top creepy way of some hotels. In room fridge, microwave, coffee, what more could you want? Well as far as I'm concerned this is a five star hotel, large clean well equiped rooms and if I could give it a 6 I would. From now on I will be looking for Drury hotles ahead of others. I can't give higher praise.
