“In one word - Awesome!”

I can't express enough how great the Drury is. Definately my best hotel experience to date. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the free breakfast was FANTASTIC (waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits, etc) plus free drinks and appetizers for happy hour? I don't know what more they could have done right. The view from the roof top pool is great, and even though our room was fairly messy (4 girls in one room for 5 days...) we always had enough towels and it was always tidied up a bit. The location was great, as we didn't want to stay right on bourbon street, so we were only a few blocks away. We didn't feel unsafe at all and usually walked home at night. I plan on visiting NO again - great atmosphere, great people, great city, and our hotel experience made it that much better. So thank you Drury!

“A fiine introduction to New Orleans.”

The Drury Inn was more than we expected. While the outside is rather bland, the lobby was well appointed and welcoming. Our room was tastefully appointed, clean, and quiet. Staff were very accommodating - getting taxis, helping with directions, offering advice on tours and attractions. The walk to the French Quarter was only a few blocks and we explored different routes during our stay. The included breakfast was fun - meeting other travellers - and the happy hour in the evening gave us more flexibility in our plans. We didn't have much of a view but seldom spent much time in the room anyways. Our shower had some intermittent issues which we advised the desk about. Overall, this hotel was very good value. We will probably stay there again next year.

“Exceptional Service”

Everything was great about this hotel. The rooms were clean with great showers, marble countertops and flat screen tv's. It is located just a few easy blocks from everything without being right in the Bourbon Street craziness. The breakfast, evening snack(which could be supper) and 3 free cocktails were really enjoyable. We didn't have any extra charges on our bill when we left because everything was free. No charge for computer use, phone calls, pop, popcorn, newspapers. The pool was on the roof with a great view. But probably the best thing was the staff. They couldn't do enough for us including calling cabs, booking tours, answering any questions, safety deposit box use. Just such warm friendly people. The only negatives that didn't bother us but might others was a small workout room whicih we didn't use as we were too busy sightseeing and the view from our window was the wall of another hotel, again we didn't spend that much time in our room.

“Just Perfect”

The location is great and the breakfasts are very good. The staff were very helpful when our car's battery died just as we were leaving. They are pet friendly and our dog pepper felt at home there. Just a note-there is a great restaurant called Mother's two blocks down Poydras on the right as you leave the front door. There is a park for dog-walking (lafayette Square) 2 1/2 blocks away. I would gladly stay there any time I'm lucky enough to be in Nawlinz!!!

“Short and sweet stay”

Not new but clean and organized, well kept and with free happy hour drinks, snacks and a free breakfast, this hotel which is a short walk from Bourbon Street was an ideal place for us to overnight prior to our cruise!

“Great Location”

We tried this chain in St. Louis first and really enjoyed the hotel. This location is in a great spot! Just the right distance to bourbon street and a great location for a football game!

“Great base for touring historic New Orleans”

Very friendly staff. Great location (15 minutes walk to cruise port, 20 minutes walk to Bourbon Street). Excellent breakfast buffet, and late afternoon snacks in the lobby, are included with your room.

“General Comments - Staff & Amenities”

The front desk staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Provided suggestions on what to see based on groups age and interests. Waking up before 9:30 a.m. to take part in the breakfast and being back for the 5:30 happy hour are a must! Rooms were spacious and comfortable for the weeks visit. The in room mini-fridge and microwave were an added bonus and definitely came in handy.
