“great”
Hotel room was large. Very convenient to French Quarter, transportation. "happy hour" each evening.
“Great Location, Price and Accomodations”
Absolutely loved it. Clean, Quiet and affordable, this location is a must stay when in New Orleans. Just a short walk (5 min) from the French Quarter and Bourbon, the Drury Inn and Suites was an impressive surprise.
“Best Bed in Town”
Our Room was excellent with high ceilings and lovely drapes. Marble Hall and Baths were beautiful. The bed was so very comfortable! I slept better than at home. The value was incredible. Can't wait to go back. Barry
“Loved our stay!”
We had a wonderful stay at Drury Inn last week! The location was great - in the quiet part of the financial district, yet only about four blocks to Bourbon Street and the French Quarter. We didn't use our car once while we were there - could walk everywhere. The hotel was beautiful, and the room was great - very large and had a fridge and a microwave. Very clean - my biggest requirement in a hotel. Only downside of the room was a poor view of the alley, but we weren't in the room much anyway. The service was great - a warm breakfast including waffles, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, sausage and more. The evening kick back was nice, but the lines were long for the drinks, and the seating is tight, especially right at 5:30pm. Would recommend going a little closer to the ending time at 7pm. We used this as our meal one night, but didn't want macaroni and chicken strips for our dinner every night. This would be perfect for kids though - definitely enough food for a meal. I would highly recommend this hotel for travelers with or without children. If we ever go back to New Orleans, this is where we'll stay!
“Great location, friendly staff!”
This was our 2nd time in New Orleans, the first trip by way of airport and taxi. Stayed in French Quarter. This time, we drove in and was concerned about parking our vehicle, as the parking in the French Quarter is scarce and the streets are narrow. The Drury Inn has secure off street parking, was in safe location, within walking distance of Bourbon Street, or Harrah's casino. If you chose not to walk, the Trolly is right beside the Drury which takes you to Bourbon Street where you can catch another Trolly down Canal to the River Walk and Harrah's. The rooms were spacious, the hospitality wonderful! Jamie at the front desk was extremely helpful in suggesting a good tour company, which we booked right at the front desk and was picked up and dropped off right out front! The Quickstart breakfast and the early evening "Kickback" with hot food and drinks was handy! Can't say enough good about our stay, will definitely stay here again on our next trip to New Orleans!
“Very impressed”
I had not stayed at a Drury property in the past and was pleasantly surprised at the condition and maintainance of the room. I travel a lot for business and will try to stay at another Drury property in the future. The only thing missing was an ATM machine.
“I consider this hotel one of the best hotels in the City of New orleans.”
I have stayed at some many hotels this past year because of the Hurricane, but the Drury Inn and Suites is the best, not only is the hotel excellent the staff is also. The accomadations are so much better than so many other hotels located downtown. My first choice is the Drury Inn and Suites.
“Drury is always my 1st choice”
My family and I always check for Drury Hotel whenever we travel and this one was exceptional. This is a beautiful hotel and we loved everything about it. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The breakfast and happy hour are always great. And the staff is wonderful and knowledgeable. We are looking forward to our next stay.
“Great place to stay”
The hotel was clean, nice staff, great service and overall great place to stay. The breakfast in the morning was great, and I liked the 5pm free happy hour too.
“I would definitely stay there again.”
There was nothing not to like about this hotel. The staff was efficient and pleasant, the room was perfect and the overall experience was completely positive.
