Great location, great room!

Posted 22-Apr-2015
Pros: Modern décor, spacious room and public spaces. Location1
Cons: more breakfast options, perhaps
Location: walking distance of French Quarter, restaurants, Canal St., etc
Every person at the hotel was friendly and warm. Particularly Desi was great! He not only welcomed me by name, but then upgraded us to a terrific suite. Subsequently, any request of housekeeping or the café was met immediately.

Nice hotel in the middle of the French Quarter.

Posted 21-Apr-2015
Pros: Cleanliness
Cons: All the things mentioned above
Location: Centrally located close to everything, bars, restaurants, galleries and shops.
Never having been to New Orleans I would have preferred to stay in a more authentic and quaint lodging however everything that appealed to us was already booked. That said, for the cost of the room we expected a few more ammenities. There was no restaurant in the hotel, just a bar with some packaged goods and a few pre-made breakfast sanwiches for the microwave. There was no safe in the room so we had to go down to the front desk each time we needed the use of a safe which was inconvenient. The tv had very basic channels for free and the rest for a charge. Although on vacation we were room bound part of the time because of the rain so a movie gratis would have been nice. The rain shower head was way too high and the bathroom lighting poor for shaving and makeup. Other than all this we made the best of our stay.

We are delighted to hear about your recent stay with us and really appreciate your feedback! Your comments regarding the shower head are much appreciated and will be shared appropriately. Our guest room televisions do have a full compliment of channels, including HBO at no charge, however, our in-room movie selection which includes movies still in the theater are for purchase. We are connected to the Ritz Carlton hotel and therefore all of our guests have full access to the Jeremy Davenport Lounge which has live music and the M-Bistro restaurant which includes a full hot breakfast buffet in the mornings and lunch and dinner. We also have 24 hours room service. I hope the next time you stay with us, you are able to use one of these areas. Thank you again for your feedback and for being our guest.

Great hotel - We were really surprised to have a suite-type room with lots of space, modern furnishings, and high ceilings.

Spendy trip

Posted 20-Apr-2015
Pros: The best part of the hotel was the staff. Each took time to say hello and always smiling.
Cons: Fans in the bathroom and separate thermostats for the room areas.
We had fun in town. The rain did not stop oue travels. We ventured out of the Quarter and are glad we did. Frenchman Street and the other local areas were fun.

Great hotel & location

Posted 19-Apr-2015
We stayed for our honeymoon and it was great. A large room with a sitting area, only issue was the TV guide didn't work (static). Location was fantastic, in the Quarter but not too noisy. Would definitely stay here again.

Close to the French Quarter but quiet

Posted 12-Apr-2015
Pros: Loved the layout of the room!
Cons: Don't change a thing it is perfect.
The Hotel Staff was the best! Everyone was friendly and always ready to help. The Hotel was comfortable, very clean and smells great. The layout of the rooms are fantastic with a sitting room when you walk in and the bedroom at the back keeping out noises. Location is great, close enough to walk to the French Quarter but far enough away from all the noise. We loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone that wants to be comfortable and treated like they matter.

Good location

The location was very good. In French Quarter but.not in a noisy area. The room was a good size but we were two adults with two pre-teens and were given a queen bed but with a fold out sofa that was not very comfortable. The first time in te US that we dont get two double beds.

Nice hotel on edge of French Quarter

Posted 31-Mar-2015
Pros: The staff was friendly. The bed was comfortable.
Cons: They should replace the carpeting and make sure the toilet is functioning properly. They might also consider where they locate their guests.
Location: Easy walk to the french quarter - Jackson Square, Bourbon Street, the riverfront.
The room was clean except for the typical sticky and stained carpeting. The toilet was very noisy when it was flushed and clogged on our last day. The walls were thin so you could easily hear the boisterous swearing young men in the room next to ours, especially at 3 am. We also were woken up early due to the noisy demolition/ construction site outside of our window. We stayed for four nights so we would have preferred a better room, as in less noisy!!
