Terrific location between French Quarter and artsy Warehouse district. Loved that it was away from the noise and could walk to everything. Hotel is uniquely remodeled warehouse buildings retaining architectural charm with spacious rooms.

Perfect Place to Stay in NOLA

Posted 3-Mar-2015
Pros: Location, Room, Staff, Breakfast
Location: Ruby Slipper Cafe only a block away
We were extremely happy with our stay here. The location could not have been better - in a quiet area in the business district but only a short walk to Canal St and the French Quarter. All of the hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was quiet, comfortable and clean. Even the breakfast was good - better than most continental breakfasts with more variety. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nice hotel close to the French Quarter

Posted 2-Mar-2015
Pros: Concierge staff were superb!
Location: Great Location within easy walk to the French Quarter and downtown shopping. Always felt safe in this area!
Our initial greeting by staff was not very warm. Not sure if desk staff were put off that we were trying to check in a little bit earlier than the normal check in time, although no mention was made to this affect. The facilities were very nice with a unique decor. Our room was small but we didn't spend much time there so it wasn't a problem for us. This hotel has employed two of the best Concierges in the business. This was our first trip to NOLA and we only had about 48 hours to spend before our cruise so we relied heavily on Eddie and Jacques to recommend how best to spend our time. We were not disappointed. Well done gentlemen!!

Weekend getaway

Posted 1-Mar-2015
We took a four day weekend to escape the frigid Michigan weather. Got lucky and caught a couple of 72 degree days in NO; had very enjoyable time walking about the city and enjoying its sights, activities and foods! This is a convenient location from which to walk, has friendly staff and free breakfast if you wish.

Pros: The location, historical feel, free breakfast
Location: Great location minutes from Canal street and the French Quarter. Walking distance to all street car lines.
Great hotel! The free breakfast was a great way to get you started for the day. It had such character with a nice historical feel to it. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Would stay here again when I come back to new orleans.

Great location

Posted 26-Feb-2015
Pros: Location
Location: We were close to nice restaurants, convention center and the crazy Bourbon St. It was convenient to get on and off of the highway for touring.
My stay at this hotel was very nice. The breakfast buffet was always stocked and very good. Can't beat this hotel for comfort. The rooms were a little small but nothing that you can't deal with. Originally booked a suite, when we went to our room after checking in we found out that the suites don't have any windows. That is always a must for me. We asked to be switched to a room with windows. They had one available so we were pleased with the room.
