Very nice hotel close to the French Quarter.

Posted 23-Jul-2014
Pros: The room, breakfast, location, service, and the price.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: The location is very close to the French Quarter.
My wife and I stayed here for two nights. We chose it because it was affordable and located close to the French Quarter. We both agreed that we made a great choice. The hotel room was comfortable, the complimentary breakfast was great, and the service was very good. It was a short 5-10 walk to Bourbon Street, but located in a quiet part of town. We would definitely stay here again.

Sabrina was awesome!

Posted 18-Jul-2014
Decided to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday in New Orleans. The staff was so nice and helpful. Sabrina and staff decorated the room and picked up a cake for my daughter. They made it a point of making my daughter feel special during our stay. Thank you so much for helping us celebrate!

Very conveniently located

Posted 16-Jul-2014
Pros: The staff very excellent and extremely helpful. The location is wonderful - only 2 blocks from the French Quarter.
Cons: Cleaning staff need some re-training.
A little bit dark and dingy. Breakfast was good but standard fare - scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, French Toast. We left a dirty messy towel on the floor and they put it back on the rack to re-use.

Excellent hotel with friendly staff

Posted 11-Jul-2014
Pros: Everything!!! Excellent staff. Extremely comfortable. Very clean. Delicious food.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like was that I had to pay to park, felt like that should have been included in the room.
Location: Hotel is walking distance to the French Quarter of New Orleans. The valet took our car the first night & we never needed it again, until we left.
I don't usually write reviews but we had an excellent hotel experience. The room catered to every need and was extremely clean & comfortable. The staff from the valets, check-in/out and concierge were friendly, knowledgable & helpful. Even staff that you passed in the hall would smile and greet you with pleasant conversation. I will definately recommend this hotel to other friends & family, as well as being staying here again. It was so comfortable and friendly we did not want to go home!! Best place we have stayed thus far!

Pros: Unique
We were pleased with the accommodations. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is unique and rooms very clean. The only downside is the pool is very small and very warm (if you plan to swim). Other than that, I would stay there again. It is walking distance to most all attractions and location was very safe.

15 year Anniversary Trip

Posted 5-Jul-2014
Pros: The appearance and comfort
Hotel staff was accomodating, freindly, and very helpful. Breakfast was good, room was small but cozy and comfortable. A little noise from the pool up until it closed at 11:00pm. It is New Orleans and the city really doesn't sleep. The interior of the hotel was really nice and the exposed beams in the lobby and old brick work around the hotel was nice and gave a feel for how much history was really in the building. 2 block from the Quarter and easy walking distance to many attractions.

Leary of a second stay-

Posted 28-Jun-2014
The hotel is located only 2 blocks from Canal St and you can walk just about anywhere from the hotel. Upon checkin the two ladies were deep into a conversation and never paused during the whole check in process. The lobby is very quaint and clean. The "pool" area is actually an oversized hot tub! Very beautifully don but VERY SMALL- not more than one family at a time could enjoy this pool. Our room was a double room queen suite. I had to call and ask about our luggage?--it took them about 20 minutes to get it up to us. The rooms need a definite update! very worn carpet and furniture and beds were ok--the bathroom was not very clean. The walls are paper thin --I had to call twice (11:45 and again at 12:30am) to have the people in the next room to be quiet. The breakfast was the average complimentary breakfast--the breakfast area is quite small. The price was fair for our stay and cant say I would stay here again. We visit New Orleans often and have stayed at better places for almost the same price.

Mr. Bryan and Ms. Valerie took great care of us. I have stayed at this hotel before that's why I came back. The cafe staff was great and John the bartender was very pleasant. Just a wonderful place to stay would recommend this hotel to all. Close to Canal street and French Quarter
