Pros: Everyone was helpful and happy
Cons: Free breakfast is worth what you pay for it. Breakfast cafes a bit of a walk - at least 3 blocks.
Nice hotel close to French Quarter and other sites such as St Charles Streetcar line, Riverwalk and so on.

Convenient to french Quarter

Posted 21-Apr-2015
Pros: Location, location, location!
Cons: Housekeeping services are poor - room not made up until late afternoon, or not at all. Dusting of pictures, ledges, and behind TV recommended.
Location: Perfect location on a quiet street. Close to numerous restaurants, 5 blocks to the Riverwalk. French Quarter within walking distance
Best part of this hotel is the location to the French Quarter. Quiet street but close to the action. Disappointed with the housekeeping services and general upkeep of the room. Public areas of hotel are updated and quaint. Pool is small but beautiful courtyard makes up for it. Workout room was great.

Pros: The staff.
Cons: The housekeeping staff knocking on the door too early in the morning.
Location: Close to everything, they will arrange all your tours.
Close to French Quarters. Nice breakfast with fresh fruits.

Handy to walk anywhere and to trams.

Posted 18-Apr-2015
Pros: Breakfast, location, staff, not too expensive
Cons: Clean the carpet more often?
Location: Lots... French Quarter, art market, Bourbon Street.
The hotel had a nice lobby and excellent breakfast. The room was average, but I felt that the carpet was not that clean.

Glad you had a great stay with us! We have recently invested heavily in all new beds for the hotel - so we hope that if you return again, it can be a perfect 5 star stay.

Return to my Home Away From Home

Posted 16-Apr-2015
Pros: Is in walking distance to great shopping, aquarium,Jacksons Square,Riverwalk just to name a few.
Cons: The rooms have all the amenities but are small and could use a bit of upgrading,
Location: Two blocks from the French Quarter and again walking distance to the aquarium, riverfront, etc.Carriage ride or walking tour through the French Quarter.
This was not only my 6th visit to New Orleans but also to the same property. The reason I like the hotel is that they have amazing staff not only at the front desk but also at the concierge, housekeeping, maintenance and breakfast room. The hotel is in walking distance to everything you want to see and more. The breakfast is very plentiful and will not come away hungry.Everyone you come in contact with at the hotel cant do enough to make your stay memorable. My only complaint would be that in all my previous visits during either the Jazz Fest or French Quarter Festival I was given a generous discount on my room and had been upgraded on my last two visits but although I was a loyal returning guest again at peak time,I was not offered the same kind of discount for which I am extremely disappointed.

I give this hotel 4 and half stars

Posted 15-Apr-2015
Pros: The location is great and the staff were very nice. The lobby computers, breakfast and the pool.
Cons: I stayed on the fourth floor and unfortunately the electrical room was right below me and the vibrating I could feel coming through the floor.
Location: Right outside the French quarter, Canal street is 2 blocks away. Hurrahs casino is about 6 blocks away from the hotel. Of course the French quarter.
I was there for the French Quarter music festival and stayed for 7 days and 6 nights. Overall I enjoyed this hotel. The reason why I didn't give the hotel 5 stars was because when I first went into the room, a roach ran across the floor, for me no problem as I simply killed it and threw in the garbage. Now understand New Orleans is known for having a whole lot of bugs everywhere, I am writing this for those people who are picky about that sort of thing. Now let me say that I did not see another bug the rest of my stay, so maybe that bug snuck in at one point before I arrived. Also ask for a room away from any of the vending machines, electrical rooms or hallway air conditioners. I will finish by saying that I had a king size bed which was very comfortable and everything in my room I needed was provided, first class. At the end of my stay the front desk called and offered a wake up call (not many hotels do that unless you ask) and also arranged a taxi to meet me in front of the hotel to go to the airport. The taxi showed up right on time. Also another advantage of staying at this hotel was you didn't get all the noise you would if you stayed right in the French quarter, for those of you who would need to sleep at night.

Room was too close to pool and it was open from 7am to 11. We're woke up.

Glad you had a great stay! We apologize if guests were noisy in the pool early - the courtyard is typically a very quiet space for relaxation. It sounds like everything else went fantastic though!
