“Hospitality is everything.”
This was a very well located hotel near the heart of downtown New Orleans. Just a couple of blocks away from the mainstream, I was within walking distance to anywhere I wanted to go, including bus stops and cab pick-up areas. Because of it's location, my room was very quiet and comfortable and I had good, restful nights. I particularly appreciated the helpful staff in the hotel. Everyone was helpful, from the housekeeping people, the maintenance man (my phone was out of order for a few minutes) front desk's very informative and cheerful staff, the guy at the bar and the boys out front. I felt very safe and taken care of here. I would definitely recommend the Country Inn and Suites to anyone visiting New Orleans.
“Small but nice”
The hotel was very nice, our only complaint was the size of the room. It was just a little larger than the king sized bed. If you don't mind a room the size of a inside cruise cabin, you'll love it.
“Great location near the French Quarter”
Hotel was great. The cookies at the front desk were delicious. Room was spacious and comfortable. Location is just across Canal St from the French Quarter so easy access but just far enough away to not be disturbed at night by the noise of Bourbon St. We'd definitely stay here again.

Convenient to French Quarter. Unique building with lots of character. Very friendly and helpful staff. Only complaint is that the rooms aren't very sound proof. Could hear conversation and laughing from room nextdoor.

“Will always stay at this hotel when visiting the Big Easy”
This hotel is a 3* but is more like a 4*. Hotel was very clean, maintained well - very close to all the places we wanted to go and visit - and above all, the staff were so friendly and beyond helpful. I was very, very impressed ! Can't wait to return !
“A Very Pleasant surprise”
This hotel is located just beyond the French Quarter, within easy walking distance. Although my wife uses a walker, we found using the city streetcar service to be novel and convenient. It allowed us to expeditiously visit any part of the French Quarter. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and eager to help us have a wonderful stay in New Orleans. Our bed was extremely comfortable and the sheets felt really luxurious. The towels were also excellent quality. The pool is nestled in a lovely courtyard just off the lobby. There were always clean towels available right at poolside. Breakfast was abundant, with a large selection of different foods and beverages. Doormen always had a friendly greeting and were more than helpful upon arrival and departure. We would not hesitate returning to Country Inn & Suites New Orleans French Quarter.
