“new year 2012”
The hotel was just remodeled, rooms were great close walking distance to the french quarters
“Nice Hotel”
This hotel has a very nice atmosphere and friendly workers. Its location was ideal since my elderly mother and I wanted to stay near Treme but still be within easy walking distance to the Mississippi River and popular attactions in the French Quarter. My only suggestion is that perhaps there should be a special discount rate for seniors.
“Older, Quiet Gem”
The hotel is an older hotel; however, it has been well maintained. The location is good, within blocks of points of interest in the French Quarter. The rooms were clean and spacious, and beds were confortable. The office staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating, often giving us directions to places of interest by marking the routes on office-supplied maps of the city. Breakfast staff did a great job providing eggs, waffles, sausage and more.They, too, were gracious in giving us information about the city and public transportation. I definitely would stay at this hotel again...hopefully, in the near future.
“Southern Hospitality”
I'm from the north and the southern hospitality could not have been better. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The free breakfast included hot foods and not the typical continental breakfast you would expect. I asked them where the grits were and 2 days later a member from the staff ran up to me in the morning with grits. The location was perfect being just 3 blocks from Bourbon Street yet away from all the sound. I will be booking at this hotel again!!!
“Nice”
The staff was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the complimentary full breakfast. Courtyard small but beautiful. On the north edge of the French Quarter - close enough to walk to everything, but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. The only negative- the beds are extremely firm.
“Vacation stay”
Ive stayed in alot of hotels in the new Orleans. area and this was the first best western I've stayed. at.i will stay again It was very clean and parking was very easy Overall a great stay for the money!!
“Satisified Customer”
Bourbon Street/French Quarter is all very close to this hotel. We felt very safe, even at night, in this area. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good.
“Home in the heart of the French Quarter”
The hotel could not have been better situated being opposite the louse armstrong park and a short walk from all that the French Quarter has to offer. We found the staff to be very helpful and knowledgable. We would definitely stay there again
“beautiful hotel”
beautiful colonial-style hotel, great location, comfortable rooms, clean and pleasant. wireless internet is a bit slow, though
“Great Hotel, great location”
Staff went out of their way to be helpful. We left our car parked in their covered parking garage during our entire stay, didn't need it. Hotel was very quiet and convenient for walking to all the points of interest in the French Quarter. Will stay there again as well as recommend this hotel to anyone.
