“new orleans andrew jackson”
Most quaint and comfortable ,very friendly staff have stayed numerous time, clean rooms ,donuts, coffee and cereal every morning, only suggestion is, would like full length mirror in room. Love this place will stay again and again!!!
“convenient and quiet”
Our room was small (and the bathroom very small) but right near the heart of the French Quarter. Yet all was nice and quiet. There was free parking available a couple of short blocks away at a sister hotel.
“Great Service, Great Location”
When we arrived, the desk clerk was extremely helpful in recommendations, maps, and brochures about places to eat, drink, shop, and tour. Every clerk from then on were also very friendly and accommodating. It is a great location, right in the middle of the French Quarter, but yet still a quiet retreat where we could get a good nights sleep.
“Would stay there again.”
It's a great little hotel.
“i'll be back”
convenient location to the quarter and helpful staff. neighborhood deli and coffee shops within 3 blocks. rooms were spacious and clean.
“This place would be hard to beat for twice the money!!!”
Honestly for what I paid, I wasn't sure what to expect. I was even a little worried. Man was I pleasantly surprised!!! The Andrew Jackson Hotel was beautiful, quaint, comfortable, and clean. The staff went out of their way make sure everything was to my liking. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. And in my humble opinion,... some of the nicest people I've meet anywhere. The location is great. Just one block off Bourbon, St., two from Jackson Square and the river and just a 5 minute walk to from Canal St. Now I know some of you are going to want me to complain about something. So, the ONLY thing I could have wished for is an exhaust fan in the bathroom. The mirror fogs up after a long hot shower. Even my 15 year old daughter liked the hotel, and she doesn't like much of anything. I guess she can give the best review,... she wants to go back and stay there again as soon as we can, and I agree. Our trip was conceived on a Sunday and we were in New Orleans within 48 hours. Expedia and the Andrew Jackson made it easy and enjoyable!!
“a great hotel”
the staff was very good. the hotel is in a great location in fq.
“Our favorite place to stay in New Orleans”
The hotel staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Any requests or problems we had, such as a very minor glitch with the toilet, were taken care of quickly and effectively. The location on Royal Street was fabulous, only steps from all of the action on Bourbon Street and right around the corner from our favorite late night eatery, the Clover Grill. The room was old and somewhat small, but very clean and the bathroom was huge, toiletries supplied were of exceptional quality. And I certainly didn't travel to New Orleans to spend much time in my hotel room. It was a great place to sleep, clean up and relax. Will always stay at the Andrew Jackson when in the Crescent City.
“Perfect for Historical Charm”
This hotel is NOT one of your brand name chains.. The room was small, VERY clean, the bathroom was a closet, but it was perfect for those who just need a place to crash after Burbon st!! It held its historical charm with a beautiful courtyard to enjoy within the building. We did get lucky with parking, but that would have been the only downfall of the trip.
“Great location, nice, clean hotel”
This place has not gotten the best reviews, but I have no complaints about this hotel. The location was great and we were able to walk everywhere from our hotel. The room was small, but it was clean and comfortable. The hotel had a lot of character and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again!
