I didn’t stay there. I live 100 yards away. My son and his wife stayed because we don’t have enough room for them and their dog. We kept the dog with us. They said it was very nice place to stay. Good to have a parking spot

Absolutely horrible, complete nightmare
Stay the hell away from this person and property. I had to dispute my transaction with this guy ended up with no place to stay!! I was in communication with the owner all week leading up to my stay. When I got there there was a whole mix up with keys… when it was time to check in there was no instructions.. when I finally got instructions from the owner, I took all my luggage upstairs to the third floor, where the apartment was, with narrow stairs in a narrow hallway. Got to the door and heard tv on and people in the apartment talking!!! So I stood outside door and called owner.. waited 20 mins for him to call me back to tell me that he never received my payment!!! What??? But remember I been in contact all week long… I then called VRBO to verify and he did receive my payment, he then told VRBO there was glitch on his calendar and double booked the property!!! What a liar!! Offered to pay for my hotel for that night and I would be in the next day…. Um NO SIR… why should I give you any of my business after this ?? On top of that he didn’t want to refund me for reservation of 3 weeks so I had to dispute transaction with my credit card company!!

Hi My WIlliams, Thank you for taking the time to review. Unfortunately there was a techincal issue with VRBO's booking system that caused your booking (and payment) to never show up on my calendar and consequently someone ended up booking over the same dates you had booked. When I discovered the double booking issue I immediately called you to appologize and offered a refund of your choosing for your 2 week stay and to pay for your stay at any hotel of your choice for the evening as the current guest was actually checking out tomorrow. You said you would get back to me. In the morning after the guest checked out I had my cleaner come early to finish cleaning so you could check in a few hours earlier than standard check-in time and I sent you all the check in information again via text and VRBO message. You never responded to any of my messages and then a few days later canceled your credit card. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this caused you, but this was an issue that was completely out of my control as it was a technical error on VRBO's end that they have since remedied. I'm still happy to offer you a discounted stay net time you're in town to make it up to you. Thank you

Perfect location - very walkable neighborhood!
The apartment is in a great neighborhood within walking distance to great restaurants and shops. It is a third floor walk up but easy for us to manage and we are both almost 60! The space is small but had everything we needed. Very clean with a comfortable bed and pillows . The shower had great water pressure and long lasting hot water. Towels were great big fluffy ones. Jarrett was very responsive and gave great recommendations for restaurants nearby. We ate dinner at Frank Pepe Pizzeria, drinks at The Trinity Bar so we could watch the College World Series game and coffee the next morning at a great local place named Koffee? After walking around Yale campus. Parking included behind apartment building was great. We didn’t drive anywhere until we were ready to venture further out. Highly recommend!

Accurate description
The place was as described in the app. Would be better experience if blackout curtains were added. Very bright room.
