“Cosy and comfortable”
We simply loved this place. The suites are unbelievably spacious, with huge fluffy beds, a massive cooker and fridge, lovely sofa, gigantic TV. The staff in th hotel were warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is generous, and there are free evening meals Mon-Thurs, free shuttle to town, free coffee all day, free internet and use of computer. Even though the temperatures plummeted and we had snow, we were cosy and comfortable. Just marvellous value for money and a really relaxing stay.
“Affordable hotel, and family friendly.”
The suites are comfortable and allow family to spread out. We had an executive suite. Outdoor swimming pool was a plus. Three TV's, full sized refrigerator were great and useful. Microwave and dishware were also appreciated. Great to have included breakfast. It was pretty standard fare, but tasty and included in the price of the suite. For a family of 5 that was pretty affordable! Location is convenient to highway. Don't expect amazing views however, it is located among a bunch of businesses away from the water. All the same, it was quiet and we felt safe in the area. We would use this hotel again.
“Very comfortable, roomy, well -appointed and furnished.”
We enjoyed the breakfast buffet.
“Excellent value”
Very nice...a suite for a very reasonable price. The bed is the MOST comfortable I have ever had in any hotel! Breakfast and dinner was included...although I didn't get to try them because I had other meal plans during my stay. I was only in town for two nights but it would be a great place for a longer stay. I will definitely stay here again when I visit my daugher at Yale!
“Pleasant stay”
As long as you don't rely on the hotel staff to recommend restaurants, everything about the room was perfect. Didn't use the grocery service, but it was a nice amenity. Tons of room and full kitchen, fire place and an awesome hot complimentary breakfast.
“Cozy night”
I had a late flight and wasn't able to check in until almost midnight. I was extremely tired and was so pleased to have such a warm, inviting room waiting for me. There was a nice full kitchen complete with everything you would need to make a quick meal. I ended up making a quick bowl of microwave popcorn (which was provided) and sat on the cozy couch watching the late night show. The bed was extremely comfortable! It was a very enjoyable experience. Breakfast the next morning was terrific and I used their shuttle service to get to the Yale campus. Very enjoyable stay...highly recommend this hotel!
“Great for College visit to Yale”
Our stay at the hotel was great for our college visit trip to Yale University. Clean comfortable room with a full kitchen + free breakfast + free internet + free evening reception + free shuttle to/from Yale. Couldn't have asked for more.
“Excellent! Premier Suites in New Haven ...”
Very, very satisfied with our stay at the Premier Suites. We were 5 in family trip to New Haven: my wife, our 2 kids & my mother-in-law. I needed a large & comfortable place priced fairly, where each family member would not get anxious because of a small hotel room. The place was a bit older than depicted in the pictures, but overall we were extremely happy staying there because we were able to "feel at home" in our native city New Haven. We even had our local family come over & visit us at the Suites & they felt at "out home" which included a full living-room, kitchen & well-sized dining table, and 2 large rooms in a loft-type apartmente. All in a beautfully decorated taste. Breakfast was good & our stay simply marvelous.
“A great surprise in New Haven”
We were traveling to Maine and needed a one night stay over on the way. While we were planning the trip we could not find a hotel that could accomadate 6 people so we readjusted the travel plans thru New Haven so we could book the Executive Suite suite that provided the extra space. It was well worth the change of plans. The rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen area made for the extra space for coffee in the morning before we started the day. The breakfast bar was complete and served nice variety. We would recommend this hotel to any traveler!!!
“More space for the money”
This hotel provides two bedrooms that are on separate floors for what ordinary hotels charge for a simple room. In addition you get three TV's, two queen beds, and a reasonably well equiped kitchen. They give you a decent buffet breakfast every morning and a pretty good dinner on Mondays through Thursdays. My only complaint was that the upstairs room was very hot while the downstairs was comfortably cool. It is not a fancy place and there are some signs of wear such as a broken door stop, but all in all I thought it more practical than a "suite" I once got at the Venetian in Las Vegas.
