“Recommend it”
The room was very nice and the t.v. so good we may buy the same one ourselves. Must say the water pressure in the shower awesome but if we all had that it would be a problem. On vac., not complaining. Great area for museums and restaurants, the food at the hotel for dinner was quite good and with a view. Manager and staff of dining room great (exception - we had the waiter with attitude) and desk staff and others top rate. A rare experience in my travel - if there was more to do I could have stayed longer.
“Great hotel in a great location”
Visiting our son at Yale, we found this hotel VERY conviently located. Didn't need to rent a car as almost everything was within walking distance. We even took the train into NYC one day. The staff was very professional and courteous. The rooms were a tad smaller than I had expected but very clean and comfortable. The beds were extremely comfy and enjoyed a good night's sleep every night. Would stay again!
“One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in!”
The hotel was lovely and very comfortable. My room had a nice selection of coffee and tea, which is always a nice touch. Additionally, the hotel is quite literally steps from Yale campus, and the shopping areas near The Green.
“Comfy & Clean”
Friendly, accommodating staff; room was big and comfortable and clean. When we asked for directions to restaurant, and then to highway out of town, they gave print-outs.
“Great downtown hotel”
Very nice, comfy hotel with a great downtown location, just around the corner from the green and good restaurants and shops. Walking distance to the train station.

“Best Hotel in New Haven”
The hotel is in the perfect location, 10 minute walk from union station and a few minutes walk from shopping and Yale University.
“Best locale for a hotel!”
I had never been to New Haven before, but my friend wanted to spend her bachelorette party there. Although the hotel was more expensive than others, the location was absolutely perfect. It's in such a nice area, surrounded by great restaurants and bars. Everyone had warned me that New Haven can be dangerous, but I felt safe the entire night. I would definitely stay here again.
“Awsome place...right next to EVERYTHING!”
