“Nice place to stay”

Howard Johnsons has provided a nice, safe, clean place to stay during the week while I am working in the area. The buildings are older and while the hallways and elevators smell a little musty,and the hotel layout is slightly convoluted my room(s) have always been clean and I have never had a problem with noise from the adjoining rooms. I plan on staying there every week until I permanently relocate to Milford.

“not like the lasttime”

bed was very uncomfortable, i have a knee injury and had to walk up one hallway cross halfway across another to get the the elevator to have to walk down the long hall to the room. not pleasing we asked for more pillow which we didn't get and we had a do not disture sign on the door with the maid opening the door and disturbing us and asking if we where checking out when we paid for two nites. bed was very old and uncomfortable

“Back Home”

When I travel back east to visit from the mid-west I will stay there due to it's in my old neigborhood

“Nice Hotel”

We (5 of us) were in town for our daughter's graduation and were staying 5 nights in 2 rooms. The desk clerk was very friendly at check-in and other than having to navigate a short flight of stairs, we had few problems. One room was short a coffee pot and hair dryer, but when we called the desk, they brought them right up. I was skeptical based on the reviews I had read, but found the hotel to be very nice and clean and the staff was quite friendly. The Atheno's diner next door had wonderful breakfast dishes and a friendly staff as well.

“good for the price”

As a very inexpensive option, this hotel was well worth the money. The facility was clean. There were no weird smells. The hotel was quiet. We did not use the pool but looking in, it appeared to be well maintained and there were other guests using it. The room had a small refrigerator, which was a surprise (2 full size beds). I didn't spend much time at the hotel but it served my needs (and the sheets and pillows were soooo soft and comfy)!

“i would go back”

This hotel was nice and clean you have a friendly's restaurant right in the hotel and a dinner next to the hotel. the pool was nice and warm and very clean. there was no noise going on in the pool very relaxing in the jacuzzi and the sauna, the next time i go back to milford i will defenetly stay there .the cost of the hotel is excellent.

“Shows its age”

We chose this location primarily on two considerations -- proximity to NYC and price. We travelled with kids so the pool was a plus. The building and rooms show their age but seemed reasonably clean and the staff was nice. There is a 24-hour diner literally next door and a mall three blocks down the road.

“Milford Howard Johnson experience”

The hotel is right off of I-95 and easy to get to. Restaurants are available near and within a mile or so away. Hotel accomodations are adequate , but the walls seem a bit thin as noises from other guests penetrated occasionally. TV service was fine, but internet service was iffy and occasionally not available at reasonable speeds. For the price, it was pretty reasonable..

“mILFORD”

Easy access to rt95 to get in and out of New Haven. Right on Rt1 and many times it was quicker to take rt1 and avoid traffic on 95. Diner and Friendly's right next door. Many shopping malls within a couple miles. Staff was very friendly. Rooms and build was clean.
