The hotel is very nice. The staff was great upon check in however after that they did not respond very quickly. We stayed 4 nights, on the third day we texted per instructions in the room asking for a couple fresh towels. Never received a response. We went to the front desk and had to ask for them. In my opinion if you have options like that then there should be a tespose of some kind. Also rooms are not cleaned daily or every other day for thst matter. We stayed 4 nights and the room was never cleaned however based on previous reviews we were aware of this. However, one night we had pizza delivered and no where to put the boxes. Asked at the front desk in the morning where to put them since we didn't want the room smelling like pizza rhe whole time. The employee said I'll have someone come get them. Did not happen, so we placed them in the hallway by a yrash can. Then around 8pm that night someone comes to pick up the boxes stating I was just told to come to your room the other employee just remembered. Since the room is not cleaned unless you stay longeer than 4 days they should offer option of someone coming in to at least empty the trash and provide fresh towels if needed. They supply tiny trash cans. Either put larger trash cans in the rooms or provide options to have emptied during stay. The hotel was quiet, room was in great shape. Beds were comfortable and the overall esthetic was nice. Parking was really easy, for New Haven. We did not eat at the restaurant.

Fantastic one night stay at the Cambria. I loved my room which was so spacious and well lit. The TV was great for a late night move. The bathroom was big. I felt so peaceful at the property.

We came for four days during a time when the rate was more than 3 times the regular rate. We had to call guest services for things they never put in the room upon arrival and never saw staff again. Garbage overflowing, not enough linens, room service never came and when we asked they said sorry there was nothing they could do about it. Never again! Shame on Choice Hotels.If you are going to charge almost $500 a night, at least have enough staff.

This hotel is great! I usually stay at the Graduate or Blake and I would put this right up there with both of them. Rooms are spacious, modern as is the bathroom. Lobby area looks great too. Not sure I would walk to campus from here, but it's a quick uber or drive.

It was a nice stay for a 3-star hotel. The room was a nice size and was very clean when we arrived. Staff was also very helpful with answering any questions. The food is also very cheap for breakfast in the morning and is a decent quality for the price. The only con was that the waiting staff took a while to get to every table. But overall it was a great stay!

The menu is very limited & the portions were small. We paid for chicken tacos & only got 2, which made them expensive - they were not worth the price. Other items ordered were also not great either for the price or taste. For breakfast we ordered oatmeal, which was incredibly watery & not cooked enough - would be better to be made with milk or at least as an option.

We had to make a last minute hotel reservation because our daughter was admitted into Yale New Haven Hospital. The location to the hospital was perfect. The hotel was new,clean, and very modern. It had a nice lobby bar restaurant but a little overpriced. The downside of the hotel was that our room was located on the side where there was a lot of traffic noise all night long, the thermostat in the room sounded like a airplane engine taking off so we had no sleep all night.

Pros: Beautiful, modern and very clean. No weird smells. Staff was professional and courteous other than a small mix-up with the parking pass. Food was good at the restaurant and decently priced. Bar looked nice even though I didn't stay long. Fitness center was good size and clean. Location had many things to do within walking distance or a 5 minute drive. Suite was spacious and clean. Huge window which let in the sun during the day and allowed a nice view of the city at night. Great privacy and blackout curtains. Closet and dresser with multiple drawers in room. Comfortable bed and bedding. Body wash, shampoo, conditioner and blow-dryer were provided. Has a living area which was separate from the bedroom which had a comfortable couch, small fridge, nice TV and a wet bar with Keurig equipped with coffee and tea. Does have an in room safe in closet with iron and board. Large Bluetooth mirror in bathroom with bright lighting for applying make-up. Cons: Water in shower does not get very hot at all. Wet bar in living area and bathroom get very hot but not the shower. Fridge could be a little larger. Stayed multiple days and could only hold 1 2 liter soda and not much more. AC/Heating unit was loud while on. Also due to being pretty close to a hospital you are able to hear ambulance sirens very clear. No mirror in bedroom. Does have a closet with a frosted door which could've been made into a mirror. Only 1 mirror in hallway and 1 in bathroom.
