Wonderful greeting upon our arrival. Amazing beds and accommodations. Wish the website stated the $50 charge for pet. When we arrived that was a surprise. The rate for the room was already high, highest in area. So to add the $50 for a 15 pound dog was more than I wanted to spend as a stopover during a 17 hour drive

We had a great stay with our family of 5. The customer service was excellent--from warm cookies, to piles of towels, to a rollaway bed to stop the kids from arguing--they took care of it all with a great big smile.

We really enjoyed our stay. From the front desk to our lovely room. The view was beautiful. We were within walking distance of many great stores. We took the trolley and soaked up amazing History. This was a great trip.

The hotel is ok. The room was just ok. The issue is price. They are a $150.00 a night hotel charging $369. I don’t have a choice of where to stay. I will not book again.

For the price paid, ~$300 per night, the room should have been much nicer. The heating/cooling units were very noisy, day and night. We all had very poor sleep each night. The foldout couch mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. The bathroom ceiling leaked, due to construction in the room directly above. Hardly any baggage carts ( 5 maybe) in the entire hotel. But, service at Christoph's bar and restaurant was great, as was the omelet station chef!

This hotel is located on the waterfront with a beautiful view of all the boats docked. They are in the process of improving the hotel, and should warn people that there will be racket during the day, but the hotel was clean. The staff was nice and I would stay there again.

The room had a small balcony and a great view of the marina. The location is close to downtown and only 5 minutes walk to shops and dining. The riverwalk runs by the front of the hotel and you can walk to Tryon Palace in about 10 minutes. On the minus side there was significant noise from boaters or guests on the patio until around 3 am. Also we went down for the breakfast buffet at 9 am and found it had closed. Luckily there are several options nearby. I recommend The Bakery on Middle St.
