“Reasonable and Satisfying for all”

This Hotel is right on the 7 Mile beach front. It may not be a 5 Star but with a change of furniture and new coat of paint it would be. 24 Hour service no problem, Security no problem, Air condition rooms and friendly staff at my fingertips; even when I asked for an extra Towel at 11pm at night.

“Earned our promise to return next year, and our want to stay at the "Mariners"”

We just really liked our stay at "Mariners Negril Beach Club Resort". Our time there totaled 20 days. 5 minute walk to town.

“Jamaica-No Problem!”

Had a wonderful three week stay a this resort. Very basic studio room, clean and the staff were extremely accomadating and helpful. Located in a great area if you're looking to do your own cooking most of the time, as the town of Negril was just a short ten minute walk away. Everything we needed was close at hand, and cabs from town were only $5us. We were there in May 09, had rain most days, but it was awesome. Still had lots of sun and got a good tan. The main office was very helpful and courteous too!This was our first time in Jamaica and we will definately go again, I can't wait!

“Pros and Cons for the lone traveller”

A little deep cleaning on the toilet area is definitely needed-laid back Caribbean cleaning I guess. Otherwise the place is definitely worth the $ paid. Jamaica in general is a little sketchy to go about in by yourself. you will be approached to buy drugs etc... Stay at your hotel.

“Best deal in Negril”

Best beach in Jamaica, close to all amenities staff is wonderful rooms are clean and comfortable. Great value for the price, would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay somewhere other than a all inclusive. Convenience store, two gift shops, restaurant and beach bar all on property not to mention, pool and jacuzzi. Spa services available also. Walking distance to malls restaurants and clubs, secured entrance.

“Just OK - you get what you pay for”

The room was clean, as was the rest of the hotel, but it needs updating. Bathtub enamel was all peeling off - but as I said, it was clean. Rate was good so I didn't feel ripped off. Website said internet was in the rooms; this is not the case. It's only in the lobby. I take my work with me so this was a little inconvenient. I would try another place next time to see if I could find a better fit.

“Not going back”

I went with two other girlfriends as a girls vacation. Upon arrival we had to upgrade our room to a suite which was so opposite you would think you were in a different hotel. There were little black bugs everywhere, the only place that was safe was the bathroom and the fridge but I'm pretty sure some came back with me in my suitcase. The staff was so friendly, especially the front desk receptionist, she was amazing! However, half the time when I wanted something from the lobby convenience store, they were out of it (rizzla, cigarettes, lighters, etc.). The beach area is small and quiet. However it is open to the public so there are locals trying to sell stuff along the beach, which may get annoying. The location is great because it's a ten minute walk into town and there are lots of local restaurants and food stands along that end of the strip, but none of them are open 24 hours. Clubs in town and along the strip are also walking distance. Overall we had an amazing trip, but when I do go back I will not be staying there.

“bad experience”

I was very dissopointment, I dont think they should rent these room to any one, it needs major renovation, pipe shower was broken draws were old, phone in the room broken, chairs on the outside has sand on it, over all it was a bad experience.

“Let down and disappointed!”

When we got into the room it appeared fairly tidy, however on closer inspection there was garbage under the bed! There were sweet wrappers and dirty tissues, and a discarded condom wrapper on the window cill! The first evening the water went off and I went down inquire about this I was told that it's a 'Jamaican water thing' and that it was too conserve water. I and several other guests found this incredible and when we questioned the woman as to how I was to get a shower, she said I must tell her what to do! People were getting upset and the woman began raising her voice to us, the customer! The water did not return until well into the next day. We could not use the bathroom in anyway whatsoever before this. When I realised I could not get wi fi I asked why not and was told I have to go into the parking lot to pick it up. This is therefore a deceptive claim as it is random wi fi not the hotels.
