Uniquely stunning.
Stunning, beautiful and so customer focused it was really like nothing was to much trouble. As for the room, unique, stylish and super cool. There are not enough superlatives to describe this superb hotel.

Malcolm and Alex were very welcoming and extremely helpful hosts. Chapel 5 Suites is in a quiet location off a side street and very homely and yet spacious. Naxxar is a quiet town but there a good buses so covering the whole island is no trouble at all and there are a number of nice places to eat in the town, also a good wine shop and a superb butcher/delicatessen - so all needs are catered for. We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay and would hope to go back again soon.

Property was very quiet, quite quirky and suited our needs. Hosts were very attentive and helped when we needed it. We did have a problem with the drain in our sink in the bathroom, however, once reported the problem was resolved with 24 hours.

Time at Chapel 5
We had the Lovely Berber theme suite, just right as my wife is a frequent visitor to Morocco and loves the decor. Malcolm & Alex are great hosts and always ready to help with information on places to visit, eat and so on. Quiet hideaway in a relaxed place in Naxxar. We stayed around the pool a couple of times or on the roof and let the rigours of daily life pass us by. Good location too for visiting other parts of Malta & Gozo. If ypu have a hire car parking can sometimes means a short walk back. Overall a lovely place to stay.

Malcolm and Alex are absolutely fantastic, warm and welcoming. You arrive at Chapel 5 and are greeted like friends and leave feeling like family. Our room was stunning, the bed was huge and extremely comfortable. The rooms were meticulously clean. Breakfast was plentiful. Alex went shopping specifically for Vegan cheeses and Soya milk. It was like being at home only a lot more relaxing. Chapel 5 are situated in a quiet area of Naxxar which is a vibrant town and in a central location on Malta, anywhere on the island can be reached within approx 30 minutes. If you dont hire a car, the bus stop is about 5 minutes walk.There was nothing not to like, would highly recommend and will return to this wonderfully quirky and beautiful guest house.

Delightful bed and breakfast
Chapel 5 Suites is a lovely b&b tucked away in the delightful alleyways of the interesting town of Naxxar. The owners Alex and Malcolm give a warm and relaxed welcome , the atmosphere is off beat and casual. Our room was large with a huge comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. All the rooms overlook one of the two courtyards which each have a little plunge pool for cooling off in hot weather. There are also lovely roof terraces for those wishing to sunbathe. The breakfasts were generous and delicious offering a wide selection of breads and pastries plus local cheese and charcuterie as well as cereals, yoghurt and fresh fruit. Naxxar is a good centre from which to explore Malta , we managed to get everywhere we wanted by bus. The town itself is of historical interest and is worth exploring. There are plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants near the hotel as well as a good range of shops.

Simply superb
Our stay at Chapel 5 Suites was simply superb. The property is beautiful, and so well kept by Malcolm & Alex and their amazing team. We fell in love as soon as we checked in. Naxxar is also a stunning town, with cute streets to wander through. Would massively recommend.

Perfect honeymoon location
Our stay could not have been any better. Malcolm was a perfect host always happy to give advice or sort out an early morning taxi. Really friendly and helped make it special with a lovely bottle of wine for us to enjoy. Melanie was really helpful and friendly and helped make it a really relaxing place to be Breakfast was always excellent with several cheeses meats and selections of fruit along with a whole host of pastries cakes and drinks. The hotel was really clean and the bedroom cleaned every day. We had a beautiful bedroom (violet) with a lovely big bed and spacious walk in shower room everything a honeymoon couple needed. Location wise it is within easy travelling distance of all the main sites Valletta , Mosta, Gozo and Medina. Bus stop a couple of hundred metres away and we never waited more than 15 minutes for a bus. Plenty of restaurants nearby but I strongly recommend Becky,s for fast food . Incredible burgers and hot dogs. The salmon burger was out of this world. Thanks Malcom and all your staff for helping us round off a very memorable 10 days.More

Fantastic boutique hotel, fabulous hosts with Alex, Malcolm and Melanie. They could not do enough for you, luggage taken up to room before you knew it. Breakfast good and in good location, right in the centre of town but in quiet spot. Plenty of places to eat including the old charm and the Brass and Knuckle. Buses nearby to take you to Valetta (30 mins), cost about 2 Euros each tickets last 2 hours only so you will need to pay again on the way home. Taxi is 25 Euros from Valetta. weather was superb 30 degrees everyday and that was in September. Would definitely go back to the same hotel. Thanks to Alex, Malcolm and Melanie for everything and especially for the ice cubes everynight.

Great unique rooms
A lovely little hotel with lots of charm and unique rooms. Very welcoming hosts Alex and Malcolm. It even has a pool or two! Being in the centre of historic Naxxar there is no parking on sign - 5 minutes walk away.

Royal Family treatment - "home away home"
As a person, who traveling the world almost every week, I was fortunate to stay at this property. Magic of home atmosphere plus personal attention from Malcolm and Alex, my two wonderful hosts, made this trip remarkable. I had a nightmare with my luggage lost by Air-Malta, but my two amazing hosts made me forget about all problems and filled my few days in Malta with care and family love. For me every property is always about atmosphere and people who are around and care about you. I felt royal family treatment. Will be back soon and highly recommend it.

Unique and memorable experience
This was a short break for my daughter and I, and everything from the welcome, friendly staff and accommodation had the perfect balance of professionalism and warm reception. Location is perfect if you’re not too concerned about sea front views, there is enough terrace space to make the most of lounging in the sun. We were well placed within easy access to a range of buses and loved the local community feel, residents were keen to offer friendly advise. The only reason the accommodation isn’t a perfect 10 is because we experienced a leak in our room due to the wet weather. The room needs more weather proofing if they are offering accommodation all year round. Saying that Malcolm (the owner) responded promptly when I mentioned the issue and provided temporary seals to prevent more water seeping in. I would easily recommend Chapel 5 for summer stays and maybe check what rooms a suitable in the off season months.

Little gem hidden in historic Naxaar
Fantastic hotel, brilliant hosts and a thoroughly enjoyable break. Tucked away in the old alleyways of Naxaar, Chapel 5 is a hidden gem, away from the bustle of coastal resorts but centrally located so close to everywhere that you’d want to do. Malcolm and Alex were perfect hosts. Lovely breakfast and little touches like local handmade soaps in the room helped make it special. Highly recommended and would definitely return.

The most wonderful and genuinely kind hosts I have experienced in a long, long time. I felt more like a friend than a hotel guest, which for me is rare. The room was beauitiful with a small private terrace. The breakfast was made according to my requests because of the low number of guests at the time of my stay. I was given a complimentary massage by a local message therapist - and requesting an additional 30 minutes was not a problem at all and I was only asked to pay a small amount for the extra 30 minutes. I was given fine advice regarding the local area and the restaurants as well as a voucher for a free cup of coffee at a local small coffee shop. All in all a wonderful hotel. And I look forward to coming back in the future. Highly, highly recommended to anyone searching for a genuine, autentic experience with exeptional hosts and personal service.

We planned an off-season (November) trip to Malta and wanted to stay somewhere quiet. Chapel 5 Suites provided the perfect solution; it was an oasis of calm in the charming town of Naxxar. Our hosts Alex and Malcolm could not have been more welcoming, helpful and charming. With Malta being so tiny, if you want to get away from the crowds but still have easy access to everywhere on the island, this is a great place to locate yourself.

Lovely house with character
The owners are a very friendly and helpful couple. Although they got out booking confused and didn't expect us on that day, fortunately there was a last room available and they kept us entertained while they got the room ready. I love the unique touches in the different areas of the house with interesting decor. The roof top is great to lie down in and watch the stars .

The lighting in the room was poor if you wanted to read so I only gave a 4 for room comfort. Overall, the experience was great. Alex and Malcolm welcome you into their home and make you feel comfortable from the time you enter. We had a car but if you were using the bus service this location would be very central.

Traditional Guest House
It was like staying in a Maltese family home on a grand scale. Our room was beautifully decorated in traditional style in a separate building on the roof! Situated in the middle of the island with buses to all other parts just a short walk away this is a great place to stay. We had a very warm welcome, Our hosts could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was delicious too, fresh fruit and home-baked pastries every day. Thoroughly recommended.

Lovely building set in the middle of Naxxar. Wonderfully decorated rooms with large spacious bathroom. Access to the small pool, perfect for two people seeking a little break from the sun. Great roof terrace, to enjoy a drink and view of the stars at night. Wonderful hosts, couldn't be more helpful. Really helped with suggestions on where to go, how to get there etc. Great town, not many tourists, really get a good sense of the real Malta. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy the great little island.

We injoyed very much the warm hospitality from Malcolm and Alexia. Lovely small simple breakfasts every morning incl. fresh fruit. Buses were a short walk away and with good guidance we were on our way to e.g. The blue lagoon. It was an absolute pleasure to stay with Malcolm and Alex at Chapel 5 Suites. Perfectly located in the centre of the country (away from the usual tourist areas), it was easy to travel to all corners of the island. Nothing better at the end of a day's sightseeing than a quick dip in the pool then a glass of wine on the roof terrace. Well done for offering something different from the usual hotel experience.

Highly recommended!!
For those who do not want a resort or hotel but a more authentic , in touch with locals, away from mass tourism experience, then this is the right place. Naxxar is central, easily connecting by bus to most areas of interest. An allday bus ticket only costs E2.60. The property is wonderful, comfortable and beautifully furnished. In view of previous comments in reviews we relied on Malcolm and Alexia"s excellent advice and were not disappointed.I would certainly visit again when in Malta

Central location. Comfortable room but no suite
Very friendly owners and staff. Comfortable rooms, however not what I would call “suites”. They have ten rooms now, and clearly planning on adding a few more. Breakfast with fresh fruit and a good selection. Every day we had breakfast outside. Sometimes finding parking spaces was a bit of an issue. Some good restaurants in the vicinity, especially the newly opened Cruor was good. Very central location on Malta.

Alex e Malcom sono stati molto gentili e disponibili, pronti a dare consigli e a risolvere ogni problema compreso quello relativo ai test covid. Colazione abbondante, struttura affascinante e tradizionale, stanze fresche e ampie arredate con uno stile molto eccentrico rispetto al contesto. Davvero piacevole immergersi nelle piccole piscine dopo una calda giornata maltese. Posizione strategica al centro dell'isola comoda per ogni escursione. Per il posteggio attenzione alle zone con disco orario, il controlllo è molto frequente.
