Resort, Landscaping, & Amenities+

Posted 2-Jul-2015
We did a 1 week family trip with our 3 children. The resort have incredible towers to choose from...we stood in the Coral Towers which is centrally located to all amenities; it literally takes 1 week to take full advantage of all things available for young & old! The landscaping, pools, aquariums, grounds are incredible...and, of course, the beach areas on hotel grounds! There are a lot of cool slides to use & a lazy river with rapids! The resort staff are all super friendly & are all so friendly; Mrs. Edwards at Coral Towers Front Desk was incredibly nice! The food & drinks are a little pricey though & can add up quickly! I would definitely go back again!

Average

The hotel itself is just average, very worn. Or Room had a furniture piece you had to Pry the doors to open, once open the draws all slid out. The maid service never replenished the coffee after it was used. No room service in this building and everything you wanted was a long walk to the other buildings, not even coffee in the lobby. With all the extra resort costs tacked on that would have been expected at the least. Their staff was friendly and obliging, but they are not at fault, they only work there. I would not recommend the beach tower itself.

Atlantis Beach Tower

Posted 16-Jun-2015
Hotel maintenace working diligently to keep up. Gardens flourishing and gardeners everywhere. Pools drained and refilled intermitantly a downer. But all are signs that they care & you should stay here.

Valued Choice but be prepared...

Posted 12-Jun-2015
Pros: The amenities of the Atlantis-water park, slides, and the beaches.
Cons: The price. We will never stay at the Atlantis again. I know the price includes the water park and beach, but most people don't use the water park daily
Location: Not the most convenient but not bad. There's Paradise Village nearby but still expensive overall.
Atlantis Beach Tower is the least expensive of the 5 Towers. We purchased a package deal, so after deducting airfare, it's a handsome fee for the room. I expected a lot more for that price. The room is quite small. It's about the level of a Holiday Inn in the US. The table in the room can only sit 2. There's not much room to move around. I can look pass these, when we travel, we like to spend more time out than in the hotel room. So it didn't bother me much. What made the good out-weight the not so good is the view. I paid extra for water view and it's well worth it!! I repeat, it's well worth it. Right below us is the sting ray lagoon, then a pool, beyond that is endless eyeful of the ocean, with varying shades of aqua blue, the sprawling ground of The Atlantis with palm trees and well manicured landscaping. That view is priceless.

Our hotel stay was better than expected.

Posted 11-Jun-2015
Pros: Everything was close and a lot of options.
Cons: Better information on where to walk within facility. Seemed to be a lot of ways to go places and not for sure where to go.
Location: On site facilities were amazing.
The experience was great and better than we could have imagined.

Unbelievable.

Posted 9-Jun-2015
Pros: The cleanliness, the staff, everything it had to offer. The restaurants, shopping, huge aquarium with sharks, turtles, stingray and everything else.
Cons: I missed seeing the huge sea turtles this time. More shops in the hotel. The wave river was OK but liked the old lazy river.
Location: I would like to see a shuttle between buildings. The wave river doesn't end where it starts. You can't find your family at the end which is a problem
My cousin and I were at Alantis this past week. We both commented on how magical it is and how well suited it is for an entire family or even just a girls vacation such as the one we took. There is so much to do, water slides, shopping, water sports and it would be a very romantic place for a couple. The rooms were nice and the staff was very helpful and professional. This wasn't my first time here but it is my favorite vacation place.

Great vacation for my son and me.

Water park and beach A +! Prices were very high. No sodas in Sundry shop was a negative. Only room service and beach/pool bars/restaurant. Would have been nice to have some in fridge. $64 for a couple of Snapples and gatorades and chips.

Atlantis is need of repairs

Posted 31-May-2015
Pros: The pools were nice.
Cons: The rooms need updated and repaired.
The Atlantis is in need of repair. The bathroom toilet paper hold was broken, the toilet ran. The lamp shades were all broken and sideways. The maid would come at 8 AM and talk loudly in the hallways disturbing the guest. The some of the staff were unfriendly, with a few helpful and friendly staff members. I would not recommend this hotel, your money would be better spend else where.

upgraded to Royal Towers

Posted 30-May-2015
Cons: Pediatrician should be available even on holidays.
This was our second time at Atlantis and second time upgrade. We stayed at Voral tower two years ago and had wonderful time. Came back for the second experience and we're not disappointed. People here are great. Service - top notch. We were in need of pediatrician and since resort did not have one that day due to state holiday, they paid for taxi to get to the nearest hospital and back. This should be called Happy Island. People are friendly. Property is unique. You will not find such property anywhere else (except Dubai). Don't buy meal package, unless you really want to spend more than it is necessary. We had breakfast in our rooms (bought some yougurts etc at Starbucks, lunch at some kiosks by swimminpools and dinner at Marina restaurants. Bring water in an extra suitcase if you can and you will safe a lot. 1L bottled water is $8.50 and 500 ml $3.50-4.00. Have a great trip! It is worth to pay for Atlantis experience. One of the best hotels and islands in Carebean
