Ruth's Chris Steakhouse - Chain steakhouse popular with guests and local residents. A large-screen TV broadcasts sports and other special events.

very nice facility, pleasant and friendly staff
“Lobby jukebox and art gallery are distillations of the Nashville experience.”
Convenient, beautiful, comfortable, and at a fair price. Parking was not included but that would have been greatly appreciated. The business center services seemed pricy, but worse was the inconvenience that they could not be charged to your room. I had a problem printing, but the tech support solved it in one call. These are very small negatives in what was an overall fine experience.
“Great experience”
For anyone visiting Vanderbilt University, this is the place to stay. It's right across the street. Its high points include ultra clean rooms, great bed, easy-to-access self-parking and a Ruth's Chris Steakhouse on the premises. It even has a shoeshine business on the main level- best shine I've had in years. My only downside is the high cost of some of the amenities such as parking, wireless web service and minibar. This is not unusual for high end hotels, however.

Our stay at this hotel was great. The service was consistently good and our room was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!
“Nashville's Best Hotel”
The rooms were excellent! The entire staff at the hotel went out of their way to may sure our stay was enjoyable. The meals were great and room service was the best!! I can't wait for a reason to return to this hotel.

From the live grass in the lobby, to the beautiful room, I don't think that we've ever stayed at a hotel where we felt more comfortable.

I've stayed at the hotel twice now on business, would do so again and again. Very friendly staff and service, treat you first class! GREAT food and service. 'Eat' (hotel restaurant) and 'Drink' (hotel bar), plus the additional treat of a 'Ruth Chris' restaurant on site! HIGHLY recommend your stay here!
“A great place to stay!”
I have never stayed at a hotel with a nicer staff than at the Loews Vanderbilt. The staff always greeted us by name, and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.. Their restaurants' food and staff were excellent as well.
